It was about 8 years ago and I drove up on a Friday night with a date. We reached Caesars at about midnight... and our room wasn't ready. "Okay," I said to the check in clerk, "I'll be at the craps tables."

Okay, not to be off topic, but how could your room not be ready at midnight, at a four/five star resort like Caesars? I don't usually do well when I'm pissed off which this would cause.

Busy weekend was my guess. Convention business. Someone extended their stay. Any number of reasons.

Heck... how about the New Years Weekend I had at Caesars when I couldnt get my room made up -- no clean sheets or towels -- for two days?? Hotel management called that an oversight. And since I was RFB at the time they couldnt give me a free night, or free dinner or free show tickets -- since everything was comped anyway.

Caesars doesn't have such oversights. We are once again at a point of not knowing what to believe. Confusion usually works in the casino's advantage.

I use a specific dice set with (4 left side, 6 right side showing at top and 5's facing me) and manage to grind out profits from the prop bets (2, 3, 11, 12) almost every round and averaging 10 rolls before 7 out. It's not much for point making but good $$$ for the pocket.

I don't understand the comment, NokTang?? What do you mean by "Caesars doesn't have such oversights"? Are you suggesting that I made this up? Are you suggesting that my room was made up properly?

How about the time a few months ago when my son and I showed up at Caesars at around 2am after driving in from LA and they gave us our room keys (we shared a room) and the room we walked into had two women fast asleep. Would you suggest that didn't happen either and Caesars can't make those mistakes?

Here's another one: I ordered two room service meals on my last trip. I had my Total Rewards comps take care of the room service charges EXCEPT that the tips must be paid (can't comp the tips with TR credits). But the tips for two meals on my TV check out screen showed as being about five-times the actual amount. Are you saying that didn't happen either? (I called the front desk, and it was fixed.)

For a man who often praises Caesars, even says he got married there etc., I find the remarks confusing at best. I've stayed there many times but not recently. The items and issues you raise are expected at some Motel 6's, but not resorts like Caesars. It's at least a four star resort, perhaps five. They don't make mistakes like you outline or would just be another failed property.

That is a good way to experiment with sets. If your good enough to make more
6 & 8's than normal which pay 7 for 6 your good enough to shoot for 5,9,10,4 which
pay alot better.

I set 6/5 6/5 on my come out and i like the results with a proper bet, and if i have
come bets at the time, it also helps for not hitting a 7.

one of my favorite sets is the inverted 3v or 4/6 4/2

You tend not to believe me. So let's see if I can give you just one proof of something. Hmmm.... Oh yeah, my claim about getting married at Caesars Palace. Would a photo be sufficient, or will you think it was computer generated? Look at this one:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v461/PerformanceNISMO/moneyla/scan0001.jpg

I have been to Caesars Palace probably a few hundred times. Yes, sometimes things go wrong. Do you think they're perfect? Would you like to know how many "takes" I do before I get my stand-up show open "right"? A few, but we only put one -- the best one -- on TV each week.

I assure you NokTang -- stay at Caesars frequently and you'll see all sorts of mistakes, but they don't mean it isn't a great place.
