Serious don't bettors seem to increase their bets and never go back to a "reasonable" amount. For example, a typical $10.usd passline bettor will generally speaking play the don't for $25.usd. A green chip passline player will generally play black on the don't. There is something to this. I think it has ramifications beyond the odds. Other players generally don't mess with a black chip player as in taunt him or show glee when/if he loses.

So was I. Same point. It just hurts a lot to lose double what you would have won. Laying two to one odds is not for the weak or squeamish or cowardly.
