also table max is 5k on the $5 min tables
Quote: frestylr532...how many shooters will it take to make a point?????
Two
If a table went cold, just imagine,
1. 5/5
2. 5/10
3. 5/20
4. 5/40
5. 5/80
6. 5/160
7. 5/320
8. 7/640
Got a bankroll?
I've on more than one ocassion seen a table go 10 shooters without a point.
$5/$20 starting point
lvl 1... avg win 36
2.. 42
3...60
4, 100
5.186
6, 364
in the end you wont have your $10,000 long. Systems like this sound good, but you only
have to hit one snag and your done.
The other day we ran through 13 guys in a row before some one made a point. Add up your
investment going into the 14th shooter????
We screwed around with the 3, 11 bet for kicks and giggles.... you wait until the 11 has not
hit for 25 rolls, then bet $1, $2 and so on until it hits. Well i hit the table limit at 2 casino's
and the last one it took the 25 rolls plus 56 rolls before it hit. You would say that just cant
happen....... but ya it can and it will.
Dont look for some shortcut to beat the game, play smart and work hard at your game

Wow, so the 11 didn't roll for 80 rolls??? That's pretty far outside the standard deviation.
A lot of places won't book more than a $200 yo, so even starting at $1 you'd get there.
Martingaling the odds is not a great idea. It's not so unprobable to miss a pile of points in a row.
The odds of making a point is 6/24*3/9+8/24*4/10+10/24*5/11 = .406061. Therefore there is a 59.3939% probability of missing a point. The odds of seeing 8 shooters in a row miss their point is 1.5486%.
So, if you progress with 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x odds you will be done fairly quickly.
If you decide to hang around for 44 shooters, you have about a 50/50 shot of seeing 8 seven outs (or more) in a row.
It's a really dumb way to probably and quickly lose your money.
That is the problem....once you hit the table limit and in our area it is only $50 on prop bets your screwed.
not to memtion you need enough money to play the game plus make this bet on every roll.
I had made a couple of bucks the first three times i tried it, but the last time i had only $75 left in
my pocket when it hit on the 56th roll.
I have not lived that bet down....with the table crew or my friends

Actually, I once saw the Ace-Deuce disappear for 105 rolls. Crazy. And yes, I started betting $1 on it after 60 rolls, and stopped at 90. What a waste. LOL
Quote: frestylr532ok i gamble in shreveport la...... u can bet 5 on pass line and 500 odds.......... no matter what the point is..... i saying u start with 5pass/20 odds ok miss double it to 5/40.....5/80....5/160... and so on..... on average how many shoooters will it take to make a point...... i know on the 8 th shooter u have to have 25xx at risk but when u hit u will always profit as long as your bankroll dont vanish...... but that goes back to my question how many shooters will it take to make a point?????

Apparently the Marty is like a Vampire...very hard to kill.
I completed a practice session a few weeks ago with 14 straight shooters missing their point!!!!
