Quote: Beethoven9thWith all of the DC/DI threads that have taken place here, no one wants to accept this challenge?!?!
I would certainly take some of the action, provide that we could agree on the DI(s). I would also need to reexamine the terms in the mentioned trial.
"Golly!!! Can you believe these DI folks?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! LOL! ...haha"

I used to believe in dice control after watching Breaking Vegas: Dice Dominator on the History Channel several years ago.
Did anybody out there that watched that show stop and think about the fact that it was a scripted show and the video was edited?

However, my opinion changed after watching a slow motion video of a controlled throw by a dice control instructor. The dice look great in the air, but then they bounce around like crazy after hitting the back wall!
The slow-motion doesn't lie, we all trick ourselves into thinking that the dice stay on axis, I've been saying that there is no way that they do, Stanford Wong came to the same conclusion after he saw a slow-motion video of what the dice do after they hit the felt!
I still don't know why DI's cant just call it in the air when they feel they have a good toss or bad toss don't count the roll when they believe they have a bad toss this would speed things up dramatically. Everything should correlate, bad toss calls should be random and good shoot calls should be way over expectation. No more excuses saying I had some bad throws.

Actually, that's pretty darn fair. Takes all the excuses out of the equation.
Quote: AxelWolfI would take action betting it cant be done as well, It seems there are enough people that are willing to bet against potential DIs, it would be well worth their time. Imagine all the classes they could teach and book deals they would get after this if they won.

Fine, I'll call it a bad throw if I lose and achieve a SRR of 1: infinity.
and they still dont get it. I have come to the conclusion they dont want to get it.
Now why that is baffles the snarf out of me. Dice control is one of those items.
It appears to me the only people that want a Di to prove it are those that cant or wont practice
the time it takes to win...i guess most of that is people are lazy, or they just want to gamble
and dont want anything to restrict that. I dont know.
You dont and you wont see a good thrower take the challenge because there is no reason to do
it.....zero....if your a good walleye fisherman you dont say on day one of a tournament ok guys
this is my favorite spot... why dont you all come here and fish, or the guy that bow hunts elk and
has a favorite wallow when i gets an elk each... hey guys why dont you all come over and
hunt right next to me....wake up, it is not going to happen, stop putting good players down
because they dont want to prove something to people that really dont matter.
Personally i dont care what some one thinks of my throw, i dont care what the slow motion
camera says, i sure as hell dont care if some days my throw is off and looks terrible, it
cant be good everyday, this is like any other athletic event, your not the same everyday
because what you do is physical and it is not brute force, it requires a light touch and
somedays you dont know where it went.
So some of you guys can p & m until your blue in the face, but craps players that practice
hundreds and hundreds of hours are not going to sit up and bark for you.
