Can I remove in the Come bets after a point has been established and won and before the new come out roll happens? So if the point is 5, I had a Come bet on the 4, 5 hits and wins, my Come bet stays. Could I then remove the bet before the next roll? I know I can take down any odds I had up right? But what about the Come?

Like the pass line bet, you can't remove it once it's locked onto a number. However you can remove the odds at any time.

Note that on a come out roll, the puck's black side is up, and it says "off."
This is the indicator that your odds are automatically off on a come out roll. In most areas other than Vegas, hard ways are also off.
When a new point is established, the luck is turned onto its white "on" side.
IE. No need to take down these bets while you're rooting for a seven.

Nope. Once a Come bet gets moved to a number, the casino is now favored to win that bet (since a '7' is more likely to be rolled than anything else). Therefore, you cannot remove your Come bet.
(CrapperJohn, you should go to a casino and observe. Eventually, a dealer—or perhaps even another player—will ask if you need help, and you can go from there. Assuming it's not too busy, most dealers are more than happy to help out new players, and many people at the table consider new players to be lucky.)

Just waiting for the plane Beethoven. I am indeed going to learn at the casino, just want to arm myself with as much knowledge as I can before I go. Nothing wrong with knowledge.
