The Universe loves you today.
You are on the table 20+ rolls and counting, and you are feeling great. But as we all know as players, other side of the table begins to feel the same way... Across the table, the bets have increased all the way around. You have the lucky newbie killing himself to put his 400 bucks in green 25 dollar chips dead smack in the middle of the Field. You have the savvy veterans with their passline/come bets out and max odds on them. And Last but not least, The Dark side players who have Maxed their Dont pass bets, with the chips sky high, just to recoup their losses from your quick Points you've made.
Now with all of the chips on the table, do you alter your shot just a little, or do you just let the dice rip and smack chips... Does it bother you if someone places chips in your shooting spot? Does it bother you when Dont players stack their chips high to "distract" your shot? (i had to laugh at myself on that)
Does "The money change you?"
What do you guys think?
The dark side guys, this ain't their first rodeo either, you already knocked them off their perches once or twice and now it's almost personal. I think they are actually hoping you lose.
As much fun as it is to knock them off again, the casino's radar is bleeping on you, it is probably time to wind this thing down and leave before the tap. It's been a good roll, take your bets down and make yourself happy. The savvy vets will pick right up on your's coming down, the dont's gotta go with the math.
The two minutes it now takes to pay the hops and props is crimping the game anyway.
How did we ever get on this crowded of table anyway?
Quote: onenickelmiracleMy millionaire friend will bet anyone at golf for more money than they can afford because he says they almost always choke. I wouldn't put it past him for lying about the rules or lying about what someone did to win though.
I have so much fun doing this.... The high stakes instantly makes them nervous.

Doyle Brunson claims he made as much playing golf
as he did playing poker. He never ever chokes on the
final holes and his opponents always did. He would
give them amazing breaks if they played him and he
always won. He did it for decades and got hurt about
10 years ago and hasn't played since.

Lee Trevino, the golfing great, once said that you don't know pressure until you make a $20 bet and have only $5 in your pocket.
Quote: TheWolf713Didn't know that..
He would give them unreal handicaps and even
give them odds, and he still won every time. He's
a rare gambler that never thinks about the money
when he plays, so he never chokes. Of course he
was also a scratch golfer, which didn't hurt.
Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead...only try to
realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon Boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you'll see, it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Is that really in the Matrix? Its a direct ripoff
of Zen.
Two monks are watching a flag flap in the wind.
One says 'Wind is moving.' The other says
'Flag is moving'. Just then the Master comes along
and says 'Mind is moving'.
Thats from Japan, about 800 AD.

I "Binged Matrix Quotes", that's where I got it. It's different than I remembered it.
All my spoons around here are bent, but so are the forks, I think it's just my aggresive eating though? That and really hard ice cream.
If you have a slight advantage, the only place you will have it is the 6 & 8. Lets say your
only a $12 6 & 8 guy. If the number is 5 and you take double odds and place $12 6 & 8
you have to throw 3 &6 & 8) out of the the first ten rolls and then you cant break even if you dont
hit the 5. No one or atleast no i know has a SRR of 10, so if you cant make money on
33% 6 & 8 your screwed.
You have to bet enough on the 6 & 8 to make a profit on 3 hits.
My opinion is if you cant afford to bet enough to take advantage of your roll, or put
you in the best position to win, you just cant afford to play the game.
IN a completely random game, the decision is easy, you just hope you or someone
else gets a good roll before your broke.
