I bet David Gilmour was watching Ahigh's video and made the copyright claim.

Today, I got Thomas' e-mail after telling him at the casino that I brought him up in an online discussion. Hopefully we can get a real dealer from the Mandalay Bay to get on here to talk shit about me. That might be fun.
I ended the day hitting a hard 8, and Thomas was telling me I should chase the last $100 after coming up four figures for a smaller loss.
I told him I had fun and I wanted to end it on a good note. I was really proud of that last shot and it looked really good to me.
He then questioned me about my motives and finally asked, "so this is all about your ego?"
It sure will be fun if he gets on here and talks some smack!

Ahigh, you've been emailing a Mandalay Bay dealer about coming on these forums?

Yeah, the same one who felt he was an expert on how ridiculous the whole idea of controlled shooting was. He and I were having fun talking today; I mean I don't see any harm in any of it as they absolutely don't believe in the concept of controlled shooting (especially Thomas).

Yes, you respond SO WELL to criticism.

Well it could be a lot of fun. I wouldn't be surprised if he was disallowed from participating in this forum for conflict of interest with his employment. He hasn't responded to my e-mail, but he did try to find the post on his break and couldn't locate it. It was harder to find than I thought, but I sent him some links to the posts.
He may not even respond to my e-mails, but he will probably read what I wrote about him and tell me something the next time I see him.

Of course he could post anonymously as a dealer (there must be thousands of them in Vegas) ... unless you want to out him?

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to hear from Thomas. I was surprised when he said he had an e-mail. But if he's normal, he really only uses the internet for Netflix and maybe You Tube not to nerd chat with statistics guys about numbers.

Back to the OP, and the image of the stack was removed, I have not spent much time on a stacked set nor have I ever delivered a single stacked throw that looked right, but that might be an interesting topic to cover in a video. I did want to bring things back on topic that we're talking about stacked sets.
Here's how I hold a stack set for a throw (I'm no pro stack set guy and only experimented, not read somewhere how to do this).
I generally think that you could pull a stacked set off in the middle of your play and get away with one roll per session, but you can't deliver a successful stack set one after another after another with a die coming up short and keep coming back to only win money.
What I find is that if I hold the dice like shown above and I throw and roll my fingers down so that by the time I let go of the dice, I am only touching the bottom of the stack, the stack will visibly be stuck together in the air 100%. This is about all I have figured out how to do myself. Getting them to land and have the bottom one not bounce I haven't been able to do once.
But it's fun to try this, and you don't even need a table to see if you can do the first part.

Ahigh, do you have any more media interviews coming up? If so, what subjects do you plan on discussing?

I would like to do some more interviews, sure. I don't have any planned though. The interviews that I did for High Roller radio were a case where someone else contacted me. If the LVRJ or another local organization wanted to talk about this stuff, I am available. But putting on my own show isn't something I'm planning on doing anytime soon. I might make a quick video or something I could do in an hour or so (EG: on stacked shots for example).
Watching the bounce of a stacked shot in slow motion could be fun.
Most of my time right now is devoted to actual play in casinos as I just wasn't getting anything beneficial from the shows I was doing. I have come down four figures from my high point last week, and it's been humbling, but I could recover my losses in an hour or less with my current bet levels. I came down mostly as a result of playing 345x on $25 tables instead of my typical $5 table with 345x to 10x. Getting paid is easier when you play on tables with people making bigger bets than you are making, and I was trying to blend in and get paid. But I've also been betting on the other shooters, and my luck seems to be pretty shitty!!
I could transition to doing some more stuff, but right now no plans.

Ahigh I would love to have you on my TV show once you have the proof of any of the following:
1. You can control dice
2. Any casino has knowingly/intentionally used biased/unfair dice
3. Any manufacturer of dice used in Vegas/Nevada casinos has knowingly/intentionally produced biased/unfair dice for the casinos so that they can be switched in and out of games to increase the casino's hold.
When you have the proof call me. You have my cell phone number. I will put you on my TV show. It will make a great program.

Just out of curiosity Alan, what TV show are you referring to?
I find tons of your "Best Buys with Alan Mendelson" clips on youtube, but have yet to stumble across a TV show of yours that does anything other than pitch other folks' wares.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
So, can you provide a link to one of your Thought Piece shows, if such an animal exists?

My step dad knew who the guy was who did the High Roller Radio show. He was impressed that I was being interviewed by this guy. I didn't know who he was though.
I'm sure there are guys out there who know Alan from real television. He's probably just broadcasting in a local market that's not nearby to here.

I recall reading that Alan used to be on one of the major So Cal TV stations, I think as a reporter of some type.
But now ... yo, Alan ... do you do any shows of an investigative or reporting (as opposed to being a pitch man) nature?
dunno, as I am far, far away from that TV market.

MrV: My Best Buys show is primarily an Infomercial show, however, from time to time I have put non-advertising content on it, often consumer information pieces with tips on investing, stocks, gold, financial planning (like I did on the news for 30+ years with CBS and the CBS stations in LA) and reports on organizations/charities I support. It's my show, I can do what I want with it.
In the past I've done interviews with Anthony Curtis, just for the fun of it.
