What's the call, and why?

Wasn't there another thread that already addressed this (with the exact same picture)?

The call is 'Winner 7' or '7 Out' because the leaning dice is a 1 since if you took the object underneath it away (or as somebody previously suggested, if it melted away) the 1 would clearly be on top.

Yeah, but in that thread there was great confusion because the original poster LINKED to the photo above, where the first response included an actual image - but of different dice, with a different "obvious" answer.

Then confusion ensued because the responders weren't all discussin the same picture.

I'm the one who first mentioned the melting ice thing in that thread. On the above picture, the call is 7.

Sorry, didn't see it.

I pirated the pic from another board.

Consensus there is that the determination is based upon how the die would land if the object holding it up were removed; in this case, the result would be a seven.

SEVEN OUT, LINE AWAY, DON'TS TO PAY. PLOW UP THE FIELD, LAST COME GETS SOME!

Because if natural fall was to a yo it would have fallen to a yo as there is nothing to stop it.

"Seven Out! No Field, New Shooter! Take the Line, Pay the Don'ts!!! Pay the Seven-Bet! Wait, Seven-Bet, the Hell were you thinking about, son? Oh well, worked that time."

OK...maybe not the last part.

Yep, the call is a 6-1...however, you MIIIIGHT get a 6-5 out of it, depending on if the crew had a lot of tokes riding...

According to one shooter on the other board, the call was NO ROLL when it happened to him.

Dan will not like this answer, but the call will be in direct proportion to whether the shooter is a good tipper or not !
