I was at Twin River in Lincoln, RI Saturday. They have about 15 Shufflemaster Royal Match BJs and 2 or 3 multi-player Electronic Roulette machines (there's no ball, just lights in every slot that 'roll' around the wheel). Those have been there for a few years. But I saw a Vegas Star Craps game on a side wall. No one was playing, so I gave it a shot. An attendant came up after about 5 minutes and said "You know how to play this? They just put it in here last night. How does it even work?" I explained the basics about Craps, and she was lost, and kept asking questions about how the bets on the touch screen are put there and moved. She was very friendly and nice, but knew nothing about the game of Craps nor the specific aspects of this electronic game's play. I think there were about 8 seats. I played about 15 minutes, won $160, and left. Since I'd never played there, I was very cautious about my bets. Normally I bet $30 each 6/8, Buy the 4/10 for a quarter, and play 10 on the line. Instead I was betting 12 on the 6/8, and 5 on the 4/10. I had a 29 roll stretch where I'd probably have made a grand if I was betting "normally". Would have hit fire for 4 if it was offered. Oh well, I still don't trust those machines fully as they are run by the lottery. BTW there's only 2x odds.

Table games are coming to Twin River slot parlor in Lincoln Rhode Island after yesterday's vote. They should be in by next summer. The same ballot question did not pass for the Newport Grand.

This is interesting because it is an 18+ casino. The only other major casino in the Northeast that is 18+ is Turning Stone.
