HI-OPT I

Was wondering if anyone has used the HI-OPT I card count in six deck blackjack.
If so, have you had any success?

I tried to learn that years ago, but the ace side count was giving me problems. Then I switched to the easier hi-lo. Based on anecdotal evidence, I think very few people actively use the Hi Opt I, especially anyone who started counting after 1990 or so. In the opinion of many, including me, the costs due to errors with a robust strategy like the Hi Opt I is more than the difference in expected value between the Hi Opt I and the hi-lo or Knock Out.
