1. What is the probability of being dealt a two card 20 ? (without A/9 being counted)
PS: From what I know with A/9 being counted is ~ 10.5%
2. What is the probability of being dealt a pair of Aces ?
3. What is the probability of being dealt a hand which can be splitted ? (here are all the pairs, plus also count on 10/K, Q/J etc)
4. What is the probability of being dealt any soft hand ? (with counting a natural BJ also) - But without counting the natural BJ ?
PS: I know that the percentage differ slightly depending on the number of decks used, but a roughly approximation would be OK.
Many Thanks !

The probablity of being dealt two aces of the top of the deck is 1 in 220 better chance if there is more than one deck. The probility of being dealt any pair is about 1 in 17 in a single deck game. About half or so of all pairs should be split according to basic stategedy.
The probility of having an ace in your hand is 2 out of 13.

I know you can split pairs but thought that a J and K, although each counted as ten were not considered pairs subject to being split. (Or if you prefer, subject to being splitted).
I do know some people do indeed occasionally split tens but I think its rather rare.

You are not alone in that thinking however, a pair of any 10 value cards can indeed be split. There is an index number for splitting 10s but that is not my only consideration for doing so.

Yes, splitting a hard 20 is very much valuable in tournaments play, that is why I wanted to know the percentage about it.
