So i have been playing BJ for about 5 years mainly at one casino making use of 6 decks, double after split, split as many times as you like, dealer stays on soft 17 etc. House edge 0.45096%.

Things I have noticed yet statistically they seem improbably.

Pictures always follow not always 3 or 4 times but I would say if a 10 landed on the box to my right and my hand was 11 against a dealer 10 I would immediately double. Pictures always follow at least once?

The second thing I have noticed is that a table always seems hot or cold, I generally tend to win about 80% of the hands or loose 80% of the hands very seldom do I win loose win loose and just stay around the same amount of money. Is this possible ?

Thx

Both of your observations are very possible. 23% of the cards in the deck are "picture" cards, so it's pretty common for them to follow each other. And blackjack has a very high variance, so big swings of winning and losing are quite likely.
