Has anyone attempted to do this? How practical is it? Arnold Snyder's Big Book of Blackjack has what seems to be a great, simple strategy on how to do this. I noticed on the El Cortez's website that their sd game has a royal match side bet. Considering the heat that counters get at this game it might be worth it to count suits instead of numbers while youre breaking nearly even flat-betting.

I've analyzed it and it's not really worth it. The count or jackpot has to get VERY high before the bet becomes profitable. I'm sure you could do it, but you'd be better off with lucky ladies or just counting.
