i decided to make a side bet to see how dumb people are.
my side bet pays 500,000 to 1 if the dealer gets a total of 27 or higher

yes! in fact he does! soft 17 will still either "rehit a 16, or stand a 17 again" the ace is already a 1 at the time of hitting it...in blackjack, it cant never go back to 11 again =]
a blackjack dealer will NEVER have a total higher then 26

lol in that case, the dealer busts every time he gets a 10 hitting a soft 17. it is 17 "always" =]
