i always play the 1st postion
its the best postion for winning
this is why i need to be set straight someone yell at me and tell me what i need to hear and that no matter what position your in you have the same probability to win given a hand shuffled very random deck
If you don't have a solid reason, I'm sure we can arrange a good scolding.

i know its not true but i just keep winning... i always sit in the middle position when im playing against a shuffler
After something like a billion hands, all the other players other than third base were at the expected loss, and third base lost horribly. That should get you over your concerns or fears.
If someone can find the link to the study, please post it here. I couldn't find it, but I've had some adult beverages.

Your scolding is surely on its way, but...
I don't think your position superstition is helping or hurting.

Reminds me of trying to converse with a certain member here.
Sit where you get the best chance of seeing a flashed card. Failing that, sit where you get the best view of the dealer's cleavageQuote: heatmapive been playing alot of blackjack lately

Quote: ThatDonGuyThe one advantage I can see to first base over third is, with first, you are less likely to have other players complain that "you took the dealer's bust card." Okay, you run the risk of the player after you complaining about your play, but that's only going to be one person, as opposed to the entire table.

I guess I am just different, I couldn't care less what the others at the table think.
