Didn’t play LL!

Went to Rivers here in Schenectady, NY last night. They only had 1 table open. About 6:30 ish. I sat down and was asked to wait a hand by the dealer.

No problem. I put in my $60. There’s 4 others besides me. I’m sitting 2nd to the right.

Here we go….I hit for the Queen of ♥️!!

I didn’t put down my $2.50 minimum side bet…🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So much for that $1,000….

Anyone else ever have this happened too!?

your the type of person i feel bad for... although you should feel bad for me and you because were both suckers playing side bets... but i usually never forget to play the side bet

side bets usually keep me in the game longer than i would be as i am a min better type of person... my state has a law for casinos that they have to allow a TOTAL bet to be divided between the side bet and normal bet

we have blackjack tables that have a minimum bet of 10 dollars... so splitting it allows me to do 5 on the normal bet and 5 on the side bet

it usually give me at least 2-3 hours of playtime....

im not playing to win im playing to play though so its all about just being there and having fun with the table for me though

i even once accidentally put a crap ton of money on a side bet - more than i usually do - and was lucky enough to win when i realized what i had done after the dealer started to deal the cards

I don’t play side bets all the time. But damn, the first cards dealt to me, queen of hearts ❤️

Same thing happened to the guy playing next to me last night. He had JUST sat next to me. And boom! He didn’t play it either!

I had a side bet on for $2.50. So, if it wasn’t him, it would’ve been me!

And I told him, it just happened to me the night before! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

I once put a $50 bet on this side bet and won a perfect match! That was a $1250 win in one hand.

Damn! I usually put the minimum $2.50. Maybe $5

The strategy for side bets is either you don't play it or you play it the maximum amount.
