the game im currently playing offers a buster blackjack side bet where it has one variation that i cant seem to find any information about.
the pay table looks like this.
4D, S17
8 cards 250 to 1
7 cards 50 to 1
"6 cards (last card spade) 25 to 1"
6 cards 18 to 1
5 cards 4 to 1
3 or 4 cards 2 to 1
if dealer gets busted with 6 cards and his last card is a spade, the payout is 25 to 1.
does anyone know if this particular side bet is beatable?

I simmed this using CVData and found an EV of -10.6% overall.
At high TC's, the EV deteriorates: at +10, the EV is -18.4%.
The EV improves at low HiLo TC's, but even at a TC of -10, the EV is still negative, at -6.8%.
In the interest of full disclosure, I did not attempt to sim the "6 cards (last card spade) 25 to 1" rule: instead, I assumed one-fourth of the 6-card busts would end with a spade, and so assigned an overall value of (1/4)*25 + (3/4)*18 = 19.75 to all the 6-card busts.
This is one sidebet where the H17 rule would favor the player, since that rule results in more dealer busts.
Hope this helps!
