Most places will comp you nights if you're playing blacks for even just a couple hours per day... especially outside big gambling places like vegas. If you go somewhere else where they're not 'known' for gambling, then they'll value the black action even more.
Some Green with intermittent black play will barely be noticed at a totally top tier casino in Vegas such as Wynn, Venetian, etc. And The Venetian demands four hour stretches before the floor will even see you.
Lower tier casinos and particularly Treasure Island at this time (this is hearsay) will be quite likely to reward you. I would suggest starting out strong to get noticed when the floor is standing right there handling your playing card but I don't really know if that works or not.
Biloxi will welcome you with open arms if you are even rumored to have a black chip in your pocket though there are a few places there that are getting real stingy. Beau Rivage has a good reputation for generosity (and soon a new nightclub there too). The Palace has a good reputation and is non smoking, but some posters here would not eat their food at gunpoint. I liked that place very much but my latest visit there was just too long ago to be relevant to the present time.
Few casinos commit themselves in advance, but from what I've gleaned from your post is you want comps but do realize you will be paying for your own airfare. I hope you are pleasantly surprised at check out time.
IF what you really want is a cruise ship as a freebie... go over the players club tier structure carefully and keep your fingers crossed. If you merely take a cruise on a ship that happens to have a casino, I've heard you should not expect much since most such casinos are a very small segment of the ship's revenue and they don't much see a need to keep you happy. Other posters are experts on this. There is "magic" to the words "Gambling Ship" or "Casino Boat". One Texan sold a thousand Maiden Voyage tickets for a whopping price and still there in not only no maiden voyage there is no ship at all. The Texan appears to have "relocated" his office to some unannounced location too. So beware of gambling cruises.
Hard Rock's been okay for the rest of my party at green, but I refuse to give any real action there on principle, due to a series of bad experiences with their service. (Though I frankly can't complain too much regarding my last trip; I hit 4OAK aces on A&F, then 4OAK aces on DDB, followed by a royal on A&F in the span of half an hour.)
I'd stay away from the big ones on center strip and the small indie places; the former won't bat an eye at green and the latter are unlikely to have the capacity to comp rooms.

Or chased out of the Aquarius. =(

I think the Aquarius is trying to position themselves as the primo property in Laughlin... Quality on par with Palace Station, play requirements like the Bellagio. About the only justification I can find for stopping there is the McDonald's, but you can hop across the river to an independent location and everything's cheaper.
Quote: VenthusIf your objective is future free rooms and playing green chip, I'd just go with Boyd or Station. If you want same-day food, my best luck has been at South Point.
I would concur. Station or Boyd are right in your wheelhouse.
As long as your on the same table for a good period of time(usually 2+ hrs), consistent average bet, it never hurts to ask the pit boss for a comp. Don't expect a steak dinner and hotel suite, but if you ask for dinner or pizza etc...the worst thing they can say is no.
Also it is very important to ask for a host when you get there, sabre is right, pick a place and stick with it.
Quote: yamahamark22Also, what is my best bet on getting them should I play a $25 table for longer or do shorter spurts on a $100?
Table Hoppers usually dont get comps..Its all about Time & Avg bet.
Quote: speedycrapWhat about $60 average for 1 hour? Will I get buffet for one please? The question is directed to GlenG please.
Seems like a reasonable request. But like i said, it never hurts to ask. The worst thing they could say is "no." Sometimes they can say no while also offering something different.
Could just be a fluke in the system, but I've taken full advantage of that offer both times I've gotten it (the past two months).
Edit: Okay, it looks like things have changed a lot in the last few years on the strip.
Quote: VenthusMost places waive the resort fee on comped rooms; the only place I've ever seen that not happen was at the Palazzo/Venetian, and even then it's a matter of comp tier.
Don’t you have to be Diamond or higher to get them waved at Caesars properties? I could be wrong but thought I read that somewhere.
That has been my experience. As Platinum, I have to pay resort fees, even on comped rooms. When I was Diamond, these fees were waived.Quote: BozDon’t you have to be Diamond or higher to get them waved at Caesars properties? I could be wrong but thought I read that somewhere.
My "comped" four night stay at Mandalay Bay is gonna cost me $167.80.
Quote: RomesIf you're willing to play greens/low blacks you can usually get an "okay" game of 3:2 blackjack on a cruise ship. Then again this is if you get comped a cruise (which I think is what you're looking for - a way to get comped a vacation?). You could always call a cruise line, ask to speak to their casino, then ask for a host and repeat this question to them (aka will you comp me if I'm playing black action each day?).
It's been my experience that the rules for BJ on cruise ships are horrible so I wouldn't count on that. Also, if you want to try to get a free cruise with the line you need to have a history with them with the ships's casino department."I should have bet black." - Winston Churchill .
