I'm trying to find all (not just the illustrious 18) strategy variation indices. There are some interesting spread sheets available for download on the archives of bjmath, however nothing that provides what I'm looking for. Likewise none of the books or software I have provides it either.
Ideally I'm looking for something I can play around with to get the indices for different rules. My main purpose right now is to shave some percentage points (however tiny) from a couple of CSM and RNG dealt games:
-6 decks, S17, Double any 2 cards, DAS, No Surrender, No Peek, unlimited re-splits (including aces), 1 card dealt to split aces
and;
-6 decks, S17, Double any 2 cards, DAS, Late Surrender, Dealer peeks, no re-splits, 1 card dealt to split aces, 7 card Charlie
The first game is dealer dealt from a CSM, with 7 seats. Penetration varies from half a deck up to 2 decks in rare cases. Not enough to gain an edge against the game itself, but enough to have a true count of -1 or +1, which means that the house edge can be reduced by altering strategy on certain hands. With weak dealers making mistakes, plus bonus chips being given out to regular players, the game can't be beaten but its providers can.
The second game is the lowest house edge (0.35%) game available at a major online UK casino that have been paying my bills for the past few years. There are 5 seats which I can play at once, meaning I will have seen between 15 and 30 cards when making playing decisions.
I've never made a concerted effort to deposit and play in order to reach their VIP level before, but since I became aware they give out £100s or £1000s each week to VIP accounts it's caught my interest.
Starting at the lowest tier of their reward scheme there is £1 cashback for every £900 wagered. As a player moves up the levels they can get as much as £1 cashback for every £750 wagered, plus the juicy bonuses. Including cashback that means an expected loss of £1.63 per every £750 wagered. Wagering enough to reach and maintain VIP status (until they inevitably revoke it) will take a lot, so any small improvement to strategy makes a difference.
If anybody has any knowledge they are happy to share or any resources they can point me towards I'd be really grateful!
