Hey guys,
Have a quick question about the ShuffleMaster machines used for the continuous shuffle on lower limit tables.
Does anyone either know (or know where I can find out) an understanding of how the internal operations of the machine work?
Basically, I just want to see what happens to the cards when they are put back into the machine. I was curious to see if shuffle cards evenly throughout the whole deck or if the first X cards are loaded into a front end part of a shoe and are therefore unable to be added to. I.e Can you receive the exact same card two hands in a row?
Are the cards sitting in a horizontal line inside the machine (like they are in a shoe) or are they in some other layout?
Thanks, I have struggled to find any information on this so would appreciate any help!

Inside is a giant wheel of card pockets.
Basically you put the card in, it throws 1 in a card pocket, then it moves to a random pocket in the wheel, drops another en goes to a different spot..etc..etc...etc
It spits out a pocker of those cards on the bottom and once those cards are almost gone, itll spit another pocket to the dealer

If the answer wasn't clear with the above-- "Sort of."
You can, but that assumes that the card has been reinserted into the machine (I've seen upwards of thirty cards in the discard before getting reinserted before) and enough cards have been drawn on the new hand to clear what's ready to be dealt. As I recall, it's in the low single digits, most of the time; by extension, if you're playing heads up, your first card cannot be a repeat.

You can't beat it. Move on to your next idea, and save yourself the time. You'll thank me later.
