Quote: lilredroosterThe book would probably be useful to every AP who will probably at some time in their career have a difficult dispute with a casino.
The book should be read by EVERYONE who enters any casino.
Consider:
The Wizard once arrived at a casino utterly unaware of it being the tail end of a Tribal Revolt involving fifty shotgun toting New Tribal Police who had attempted to seize the casino.
One man protested his slot machine malfunctioned, half a dozen security guards pounced on him. He was right, but he was almost dead right.
In these days of untrained security guards anyone can be a victim of over zealous idiots who are utterly without a sense of values or any common sense.
Untrained dealers, poorly trained guards, drunken patrons ... its a mine field that you are playing in.
Quote: WinoReally interesting written reviews by the Amazon.com customers.
From one of the reviews and I cannot stress this statement about Indian casinos enough!!
"Nersesian also has advice for those gambling in Indian casinos: Don't. They enjoy a a great degree of freedom from US Federal law, and the players who find themselves being denied their fair winnings at a casino sitting on Indian land is basically SOL."
So you would never play or suggest anyone (AP's) at an Indian casino?Quote: IbeatyouracesFrom one of the reviews and I cannot stress this statement about Indian casinos enough!!

I seem to remember you saying something something about playing at Indian casinos before.

Not AP'ing. And if you do, keep your head on swivel 10x as much as normal and be prepared to get off the premises as fast as possible.
I've run into some problems on actual rules on games and been surrounded by 4 tribal
Members gaming authorities when I pushed the issue which was 100 percent black and white and it was never resolved other then I was intimidated and made to feel unwelcome

I think it's all about risk VS reward and not all Indian casino's are the same. I'm sure there are some that are absolutely brutal and some that are just as good as any NV casino. There's been good plays in Indian casino's, some that lasted a long time without any problems.Quote: IbeatyouracesNot AP'ing. I wouldn't pass up a good opportunity just because they can sometimes be difficult.
