which strategy to use

Hi guys, I'm really confused on which strategy to use for a few types of blackjacks that I have either live dealer online or at my land based since I only lose original bet against dealer blackjack, should I just aim for the rule with hole card in the wizard's basic strategy (ENHC rules have things like surrender on 4-7 and surrender all stiffs and 17) for the land based casino? and I'm confused about the 2nd one please help if you're kind enough =D

Split aces only once, 1 card only and no bj
split up to 4 hands

Lose original bet on dealer blackjack
6D CSM

Online

Hole card
S17
DAS
Split to 2 hands only
split ace 1 cardno blackjack
dealer peeks for blackjack with ace up only (if you double down on 11 against 10 and dealer gets bj, you lose both the double and your bet)

It really depends. Are you just playing for fun? Are you counting? It seems like for fun given the land based casino is a CSM and online games give just awful penetration. Penetration is usually one of the most important details in a game to any counter.

Next, I'm really confused about your Online game... If they take a hole card, and check for blackjacks, how do you lose your double down if you haven't acted on your hand yet? Are you saying if they have a 10 value card up they don't peek for BJ? That would be the only thing that makes sense to me, and that would definitely hurt the player.

There are basic strategy engines that tell you the strategy for the rules you can input. I believe the main WoO site has such an engine. If not there are several you can find online by simply typing "Blackjack basic strategy engine" in to Google.

Yes, you are right, the dealer doesn't peek for bj with a 10 up, so IDK what strategies to use for that one. For landbased should I just follow the normal american BJ rules since the use for surrendering stiffs on ace is usually to avoid a dealer bj if I am not mistaken
