It really depends. Are you just playing for fun? Are you counting? It seems like for fun given the land based casino is a CSM and online games give just awful penetration. Penetration is usually one of the most important details in a game to any counter.
Next, I'm really confused about your Online game... If they take a hole card, and check for blackjacks, how do you lose your double down if you haven't acted on your hand yet? Are you saying if they have a 10 value card up they don't peek for BJ? That would be the only thing that makes sense to me, and that would definitely hurt the player.
There are basic strategy engines that tell you the strategy for the rules you can input. I believe the main WoO site has such an engine. If not there are several you can find online by simply typing "Blackjack basic strategy engine" in to Google.

Yes, you are right, the dealer doesn't peek for bj with a 10 up, so IDK what strategies to use for that one. For landbased should I just follow the normal american BJ rules since the use for surrendering stiffs on ace is usually to avoid a dealer bj if I am not mistaken
