Mohegan - and then there were three

The five dollar pit at Mohegan Sun (CT) has been ripped up, and the five dollar tables moved to the adjoining pit which was formerly the "Diva Pit" (on Friday nights). There's a Spanish21 table, one roulette table, and three straight blackjack tables, whereas at the old $5 pit there were four regular blackjack, no Spanish 21. This after they removed one table each from both of these pits some time ago. So its gone from nine $5 tables (long. long ago) down to five, then four, and now three.

Rumor has it that the former spot of the $5 pit will be replaced with video blackjack, and that the Diva pit has moved elsewhere.

These now $5 tables have new, clean felt, with the "H17" rule. The Diva felt was "S17", since other than Friday nights they were, when staffed, at least $10 tables where the S17 rule applied.
