I noticed a Bust bonus in a relatively new casino, the bet wins if the dealer busts. The interesting part is, the wager can be made after all players have played their hands and before dealer flips up the hole card. The side bet is on a 2 deck game and the payout depends on the dealer up card, according to the following:
Ace 3:1, 50:1 if all cards are suited
2 1:1, 25:1 if suited
3 1:1 15:1 if suited
4 1:1 10:1 if suited
5 1:1 5:1 if suited
6 1:1 3:1 if suited
7 2:1 15:1 if suited
8 2:1 10:1 if suited
9 2:1 20:1 if suited
10 2:1 20:1 if suited
8,8,8 25:1
My first instinct is that this side bet is easily beatable with any card counting system (targeting 5s,6s up card), with side counting 8s (targeting 8s up card). Does any body know the off-top house advantage for this side bet?
PS: the same table allows $300 max bet on lucky ladies, crushed it for almost 10k within an hour playing it. New casinos are gold mines =P
