Just moved to the Bay Area south of San Fran. I called/visited every casino in a 50 mile radius and it looks like almost everyone offers 6:5. The few that offer 3:2 use CSMs or require an ante each hand.
Am I missing something? I found a few carnival games with hole carding dealers but they weren't consistent enough to profit with the awful rules.

Playing California blackjack in cardrooms is like playing California roulette in tribal casinos. Just not quite standard. If you want a standard game, head east to Cache Creek or Thunder Valley, or further east to Tahoe.

Lucky Chance's isn't even playable, it's all CSMs now. (Unless they swap them out. Was just there today)
AJs had one 8 deck shoe with a 1% ante which means you're basically stuck wonging TC4+ only.

I'm sure you're far more current than I am; I haven't lived in the Bay Area for about a decade. I was there around the time LC was built and for a few years after.

If you want double-deck 3-2, Cache Creek has it, but (a) I think it's only in the high rollers area (they have single-deck 3-2 as well - they stress S17 in their ads, but not 3-2), and (b) the only way it's within 50 miles is if you're in Vallejo.
Have you been to Graton?

Cache Creek is all 3:2 and they are also S17. It's the best place in the area. Graton is a gigantic ripoff. Mostly CSMs. Would never set foot in there. Cache Creek is a solid 1h30m from SF though.
Reno is 3 hours away.

Lucky Chances Is not playable. I was there a week ago and besides the 1$ ante, its all asm's. There's zero point in playing there unless you want to lose. I live in sf and it does seem that cache creek is the best. according to their web site they have single, double, and shoe games. Havent been to Graton but their website made no mention of # of decks. Does anyone know for certain is Graton is all ASM's?

Nemesiscc16,
I might head up to Graton at some point just to see how bad it is. I've heard nothing but negative reviews. My understanding is that the games that don't have CSM have crummy rules.
There was so much hype around that place and they spent so much money building it, but it's really just a place for your "wanna have a good time" gambler, not counters or APs. I'll let everyone know if I trip it up there again, but I know it'll just tick me off, so maybe it won't be soon. Haha.

There is River Rock in Geyserville. 6D, 3:2. $5 - $500. The DD is 3:2 with a $15 min. Cache Creek is pretty good too. PM me for more information.
