Does "rider's option" mean that a person standing at a blackjack table may bet on a player's hand and that he has the option of letting his bet ride on one of the split hands? (Meaning that the person does not have to put up additional bets for the split?)

The extra gain of spreading 1:99 is a piece of paper saying you're trespassed from whatever property you were trying to spread 1:99 on =P.

You need more info... you're saying extra gain, then what are you comparing it to? A 1:10 spread?? If you want to compare 2 situations please list out a full rules/etc for accurate calculations. Is this in europe where there's no peak, etc? Basically, visit the Wizards House Edge calculator and tell us "okay for this game with .4% house edge, what's the difference spreading 1:10 and 1:99?"
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

the answer is 0.2% from the book, perhaps round up to, not precise.
but i eager to know the precise figure, my rough cal is 0.16% for DAS.
