Actually not a bad idea. People are very
ignorant now, make up a country from
E Europe. It can't be illegal if it doesn't
exist. Eurekistan. Subnorvia. Make a fake
DL from there and a fake passport. Nobody
will question it.

I guess enough time has passed for me to tell my latest back off story. I was playing in the high limit pit in a certain casino. It was off hours and I was playing heads up at a $25 minimum table. Six deck shoe with very good rules and penetration.

I won 14 hands in a row to finish the shoe. That included 2 blackjacks and a couple of double downs. I don't keep track of things like wins or losses in a row but the dealer was kind enough to do it for me. The count stayed right around even so every bet was a flat $25 much to the chagrin of the dealer who kept encouraging me to take advantage of the "hot" shoe. This dealer also made sure that I knew my success was due to his extraordinary dealing skills.

During the shuffle, the pit boss came over to quietly talk to the dealer after which he flat bet me to one hand at table minimum. That was the first shoe I had played and, remember, I had never raised my bet for the entire shoe. One of the funniest and dumbest things I ever saw.

That's ironic: the floor flat bet you even though you were flat betting the whole time anyways.

My guess is that you looked too focused on the cards, didn't seem to be having fun, and didn't react to winning 14 hands in a row.
Most recreational players chip up on a streak. Try not to play strictly on the count.

If you had added a quarter after each win during that 14 hand streak to end the shoe, you would've won 2625 instead of 350 in those 14 hands alone. Huge difference!

I mentioned Ian Andersen in this thread before regarding IDs, and I'll mention him again about chipping up. It's not a bad idea at all and good for cover and taking advantages of lucky win streaks. And no, it doesn't overcome the house edge at all, that's not what I'm implying.

I heard from others that they go to the slot section and easily find a card that was left with the same gender name and use that. No comps but it does solve the dilemma of having no rating card. You should be able to play without a problem. Solved, hit and run, repeat the next time.

... and I've seen suits say "this isn't you" dozens of times after scanning the card and seeing that the pictures aren't even close, so YMMV.
May the cards fall in your favor.
