I remember some years ago hearing about casinos that used auto shufflers which put into play 104 cards. But this was not two complete decks, but just 104 random cards from 6 decks. I have not come across this myself. Has anyone heard of this? Has the practice stopped? Which casinos used to or still do this?

I think Some in Biloxi and also maybe Luxor/Excalibur.Quote: GreasyjohnI remember some years ago hearing about casinos that used auto shufflers which put into play 104 cards. Sounds like fun if you can determine if the shuffler is rich in tens. Doesn't seem too difficult to me, just watch a machine for 100 rounds. If the count is usually negative, play it. Is 100 too small of a sample size?
