Now they are only calling extra names for the Spin the Wheel promotion one time (they call 5 names and if someone doesn't show up in 10 minutes they call replacement names -- formerly they were calling names until each of the 5 spots were filled - today they have only called new ones 1 time after the initial no shows)

Any big casino closing is always being bought by Hard Rock. Harvey's Wagonwheel in Central City. 1000 slots & 112 rooms 12 years ago to be Hard Rock. NOPE Became Fortune Valley. Fortune Valley remodelled, rock and roll pix all over, scheduled 4th July grand opening 2 years ago with a rock legend, name to be announced. Never happened. Then a 100 foot long bar installed. Longest guitar shaped bar ever. Grand opening in September to be as Hard Rock said all the insiders. NOPE Revel Hotel & Casino now.

Revel may not have the best casino design but I like it and I found it easy to get used to. Where else can you sit at a blackjack table or a slot machine and have a nice ocean view? It's a very calming way to lose your shirt. :-)

I bet there are construction crews in there, I also bet they are stripping the rooms of anything valuable. Who is going to miss stuff out of rooms that were never finished.
