1. I want to test a blackjack calculator to see when it is worth hitting against a dealer 4 to 6 on a hard twelve?

2. Even though I am playing with my money and i can do what I want with it, would it be 'bad' table etiquette to do so for the slight house edge Decrease on that hand?

------
Game Rules:

After each hand played, a new 6-deck shoe is shuffled and dealt. Blackjack pays 3/2. Dealer stands on soft 17. Double down on any first 2-card combination even after splits. Split pairs up to 3 times. May split and resplit aces and hit split aces.

------

Example 1:

dealer 6,

player 1 (my hand) has a 12 (10 + 2)

player 2 has a 20 (10 + 10)

player 3 has a 20 (10 + 10)

according to my calculator the advantage in hitting over basic strategy is 0.35643%

------

Example 2:

hand

dealer 4,

player 1 (my hand) has a 12 (10 + 2)

player 2 has a 14 (10 + 4)

player 3 has a 20 (10 + 10)

according to my calculator the advantage in hitting over basic strategy is 1.14603%
-------

you probably get the gist of this, so i won't show anymore examples, and again, would someone be able to answer the above questions 1 and 2 for me

thanks

12v4 is a very close play -- the index is 0. If I understand you correctly, you are just card counting on the first round.

Certainly, counting cards and hitting 12v4 on any negative count will increase your win slightly. Unfortunately the play does not come up often enough to be worth much. 16v10 is much more common, therefore worth much more.
