Quote: IbeatyouracesWhy was he an idiot?
Because he thought his 10 was an Ace, checked it for a 10, flipped it, then took my bets on a clearly visible 20. THEN, didn't wanna give me a card on 18. He was previously chastised by the pit for watching TV instead of paying attention to his job. Very clearly an idiot. He was also rude and slow.
Quote: IbeatyouracesUnderstandable, but don't be upset about the free hand of Double Exposure with standard blackjack rules.
If it had been a 5 I busted out on, or if this guy wasn't jerk-off/R-tard, then I probably wouldn't. But the combo of all factors made me angry and I hope he is in jail for illegal porn, and I read about him in the newspaper.

This post is all anyone needs to know about Sonuvabish.

This thread is a joke. If the dealer was rude or slow or anything else that you didn't care for, you have the option to not play with him.
The play you have described, didn't cost you anything. It's been explained to you numerous times, that you actually benefited, by the mistake, it just didn't work out that way this time. Welcome to the game of blackjack.
And this final comment is just ridiculous. It really makes it hard to take anything you say seriously.

I know you are angry and I'm also sure this isn't the first or last time such a thing will happen in a casino. Insulting him personally isn't going to work and won't change anything. He isn't an idiot in my mind, he is simply bad at his job. That doesn't make him less of a human being, he may just be incapable of doing that particular job at the level the casino needs him to.
Just forget about it and move on, these things happen in all casinos every day.

I'm pretty sure he was an idiot AND bad at his job. I didn't insult him, I left the table after the shoe. Although he probably is less of a human being, based on his two-faced attitude, I wouldn't treat him as such. I didn't lose for the day, but did post a loss at the store--and had I pushed, I would have left earlier, with about the same net result. I stretched the session out to get back even. So, it wasn't the end of the world. It's basically forgotten, just thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss.
DeuceK--Ugh, I hate your trolling and unintelligent posts, which suggest low reading comprehension. But you, personally, are great.

That when people are jerks, I tend not to like them? And when people are not jerks, I tend to not hold things against them? I didn't realize this was unusual.
Mods: Yes, I realize there is a rule against discussing PM's. But since he initiated the PM and I tried and was unable to respond (blocked), I feel I have the right to respond. If you feel otherwise...do what you think needs to be done.

What do I care what you think?

You must care because you unblocked just to read it....Lol.
Quote: kewljLame. After I replied to this thread (several posts above), I received a PM from Sonuvabish, informing me that he can't read my post because he blocked me. No problem there...his right to do so. He them went on to tell me not to post in HIS thread. Lol. When did any thread on Mike's forum become the property of Sonuvabish? Lol.

Actually, I requested you not to do so due to your constant hostility, and sent the PM to a mod for your immediate failure to respect it, and asked for some sort of truce ...which I didn't realize at the time was proof of a rule violation. The actual PM is quite clear that I do not claim ownership of anything, and that 'my' means the thread I started. That you would break the rule, publicly admit, and take my words out of context is exactly why the rule exists and should be enforced, I imagine. I asked you no question and specifically asked you not respond to me at all ever, nor did I say anything provocative which would tempt a response, which is why you did not need to respond nor do you have any excuse (although I wasn't aware you could not PM back).

I was tempted to post a comment about decisions you make, and I cared about not doing that. "LOL"

Personal decisions? ahhh...is that what THIS is about? You don't approve of personal decisions I have made? I was wondering what bug was up your ass...now I know.....you somehow feel it is your place to judge me and my personal decisions.

No, nothing goes up there. The problem is I can't stand your posts. They are mocking, derogatory, with an air of superiority that I think lacks a foundation. And after my suspension, I am not willing to deal with poor treatment from you. As for judging you, I will judge you any way I please, Mr. Anonymous Internet User. Posting is another matter, and I will attempt to follow the rules.
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch,
You're a nasty wasty skunk,
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch,
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote,
"Stink, stank, stunk"!

The irony is so thick, you can cut it with a knife.

LOL...it's kinda hard to not be derogatory with an air of superiority when in reply to some of your posts, no offense. You only need look in this thread to a comment you made that was completely wrong. Not based on knowledge of gambling, but just from lack of reading or understanding the topic or both. Also, can't say exactly what I mean when talking to him. Gotta try to get in the ballpark.
We are both men, DeuceK. No more fighting like children. Hugs and Kisses.
By all means, continue your act, especially your cleverly circumventing the rules ("Your post resembles that of a (insert personal attack here)". Eventually you'll misstep.

I'm not going to issue any Suspensions, here.
I would say that this post is a violation of the PM Confidentiality Rule, but the very nature of the PM is Trolling by Sonovabish, so I'm going to just say that the two cancel one another out on this occasion. Although, had you complained to Administration via PM, Sonovabish would be Suspended for Trolling/PM Bullying.

There's no way you're talking about KewlJ, here. "Air of superiority," dude tries to help people in something like two of every three posts! To his own detriment, I might add, because if everyone were as good as KewlJ, he'd eventually lose all of his good games.

This is just about the way I figured it as well, Mission. I am glad you see it that way, although I am not saying that two wrongs make a right.
I would not complain to administration about a member. That's not my style. I'll let the member involved dig his own grave.

I thank you for your kind words Mission. The majority of my participation is geared to the topic of blackjack (although I do stray at times) and the desire to help others by sharing both my personal experiences what little bit of knowledge I have accumulated. I really feel, that my game is where it is and I am able to make a decent living playing the game of blackjack, because of other players before me, shared their experience and knowledge, not necessarily here, because I haven't been a member that long, but more so on a couple other blackjack sites. Because players did that for me, I have a strong desire to give back by doing the same, and yes, at times, my participation has been to my own detriment.
I am concerned about the "air of superiority" comments leveled by Sonuvabish, because that is not who I am. Anyone that knows me, knows I don't think myself superior to anyone, in any phase of life. I am always striving to improve. I hadn't really heard this sentiment before, other than maybe another time that the same poster said something along those lines, but if anyone else feels that I have a 'know it all attitude', I apologize and will try to work on that.

Is there a way to genuinely reply to this without it being against section 234, sub-paragraph A? BTW, I'm talking about his posts, not him.

You failed to understand what was clearly stated; what everyone else understood. The removed posts were innocent, albeit slightly ambiguous statements that were removed to prevent zealous and wacky administrator word association. Based on what recently transpired, this was probably a good decision.
