Been reading up on the wizards ace/5 count and i'm curious as to how effective it is against other counting methods like red seven..
Basically the casinos i play at are $5 minimum and i spread my bet only 1-4 units,
game is 6 deck, no surrender, 3:2 blackjack, DAS, Split up to 3 hands etc.
So given this information does anyone know if im wasting my time using red 7 because using ace/five would give me just as close an edge as using red 7 does?
i dont think it will, but never hurts to ask

If I read the other posts on A/5 correctly, the most important rule is Dealer Stands on Soft 17, which you didn't mention.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
