Quote: WhiteStarsThere is a need because they're 2 different questions...
You didn't read my entire message. They are 2 different questions that are closely related.
For example, you ended your first post with the question: "is blackjack basic strategy correct?"
Then you ended this thread with the question: "which basic strategy chart is the correct one to use?"
I don't understand why you can't see how these questions are similar.
In any case, the reason why multiple threads annoy members is because it clogs up the 'Recent Threads' list. To answer your question though, it all depends on the number of decks used (as Ibeatyouraces already pointed out).
Quote: WhiteStarsi only ask this question because i heard someone say "dont buy basic strategy card from casinos because they are different". i use a basic strategy chart that i found on Google images but i think there's a few that are different so i was wondering which basic strategy chart is the correct one to use? is this one correct: http://www.online-casinos.com/images/blackjack-chart.gif
This was mentioned but I'll repeat it because it's important. Don't overlook the rules of the game you'll be playing. For example, when the dealer stays on soft 17 there is one set of rules. When the dealer hits soft 17 there are six changes to make and some of them may surprise you.

Right on, man! The changes will definitely surprise. Whenever I double A8 v 6, the entire table erupts. Seems nobody knows basic strategy? But everyone thinks they do.
Off the top of my head: Double 11 v. A, Double A-8 v. 6, Double A-7 v. 2, what are the other three plays?Quote: 1BBThis was mentioned but I'll repeat it because it's important. They're surrenders so not everyone will be fortunate enough to be able use them. In multi deck surrender hard 17 vs ace, 15 vs ace and 8,8 vs ace.
