So here I am yet again--the Jersey Shore--windy and rainy (NY to get snow so I am avoiding that as well).

Just checked in---grabbing some lunch then hopefully positive trip reports!

OK Mr. Buzz - let's clear up any misconceptions and/or misperceptions:

I am AceofSpades.
I am not anyone else.
I do not have any duplicate or fraudulent screen names.
If I speak of other forum members being in Atlantic City, it is merely because I serendipitously bumped into them or they informed me they would be here.
May God (or lack thereof) have mercy on our souls (or lack thereof).

Most likely at Taj this evening - possibly walking over to Showboat. But, if you are going to be at Revel, I am not opposed to meeting up with you over there.

Session 1:

Walked over from Taj to the Showboat - past the homeless sleeping in the walkover bridge - raninto a friend of mine fromRevel who was at Showboat playing some variation of 3-card poker and made my way tot high limit blackjack tables (they were $50min. this evening).

Waited for the end of a shoe at a table with one guy playing $500/hand and the other playing $50 a hand (and sometimes 2 hands at a time)...

The shoe began with me losing 5 straight hands...things then began to even out and at the end of the shoe I was down 300
The next shoe was more of the same, but the dealer did get 4 blackjacks
The last shoe I played for the session had a nice split (at first blush) 8,8 v. dealer 6
first 8 dealt a 2, doubled to a 13
second 8 dealt a 2, doubled to a 12
dealer turned over an Ace for a 17 UGHHHHH!

However, I then hit a few blackjacks and a double down on the last hand and ended +500

Trip is +500

(a lady sat down next to me since I was getting up and bought into the next shoe for $500 - she announced that she was down $3500 and just took a cash advance and had to get her money back because she was going on vacation tomorrow to Florida. I have played with her before so I know, or at least I strongly believe, she was not panhandling. She lost the first 9 hands, pushed a blackjack, then lost the 11th hand - BAM! $500 gone. As I Was leaving I saw her at a $5 table. I wish her positive variance.)

Just like the other people that lost 26 Million there last month do. Maybe not as the people that lost 6 Million at Revel do, but they enjoy it just the same. The Chairmans Tower is only 6 years old and has some of the nicest rooms in the city.

Ace even stays at Ballys and doesnt complain, so what is your issue.

Please make my day and tell me your either work for Revel or are actually Kevin DeSanctis.

Can I assume you are on the Revel's payroll?...I've stayed at the Taj dozens of times, never an issue. Relax man. In fact I'll be there next week on the 15th and 16th, I'm sure it will be fine.

Good Luck Ace...you going to be in town next week?...if so PM me I'd love to play some BlackJack with you.

Stay for free at Revel and you're a leech. Stay for free at Taj and you're slumming. Clearly, the only viable solution is to pay rack rate and stay at Revel! That's the choice that any sane gambler would make, right?

I will do even better than that. I am an active volunteer for Smoke Free Work Place. I am your worst enemy. Get this in your head - Kevin doesn't want smokers to ruin his property. He has to me smarter than you. He was able to raise more than $2 billion. When was the last time some one loaned you $10?

Session #2 for the trip:

PLayed in UltraLounge with one of my fav dealers...I started the shoe with a blackjack...then lost the next two hands...the dreaded SPEED COUNT got good and I pressed to 200

split 4,4 against dealer 6...on first four I got a 10 for 14
second four I got an Ace, doubled and got a 10 for 16
dealer has a 6, flips a 2 then a 9 for 17 UGHHHHHHH! now down 800 in the shoe but things then turned around
I won the next three hands then pushed two hands then got a blackjack, won a couple of double downs and at the end of the shoe I was +550

Trip is +1050
