Dealer and player use touchpad but use real cards read by computer. Not a continuous shuffle. I made money in one hour but someone kick me for staying. If you see a regular table with touchpad, I think that the computer will red flag as AP. The computer reads the cards as they leave the deck and dislays the current hand.

I have seen these at Red Rock but they removed them because there were endless errors. I played UTH at NYNY on these too. The player's card does not even attach to the machine, that is still tracked outside where I have seen them. I think you are being paranoid.

The new table almost eliminates human error though

I hit a Royal on UTH on the iTables (the technical term for the tables in question). I've never really figured out what niche they fill, which is why they probably haven't been a big hit. There are some jurisdictions (like Arkansas) where you can't have real chips AND cards in play at the same time, but those kinds of rules eventually change and most TG players prefer real everything.

If this is for BJ they had them at Rivers in Pittsburgh, they lasted less than a year.
At WoV-East 1.0 we would have played the first hand on one if not for a dinner reservation and technical glitch combining to stop us from doing so. A dealer from my dealer school was to be an initial dealer on it, we chatted about them while the suits played with the tech issues. The point is more hands per hour and less in payout errors.
I think they were pulled becasue many players like me enjoy the feel of the cheques and seeing them sized-in after a win.
Shoe dealt game surely can track AP play since it reads the cards to make the payout, just a few lines of code. Stick with the real thing.

I run restaurant surveillance for 5 years. It takes too much man hours to review tapes in real time. You have to rewind, fastfoward, scroll, pause, and take notes a lot. There is a huge incentive to red flag by computer. The savings in payroll alone will push casinos to do it. We review tapes when someone squeals or booking detects something.
I have a hunch its running off Windows system not propriety software which is where some of the glitches are coming from. Pos cash registers are run on Windows 90%.
