Personal best is $950 on buffalo
Team best: $5000. 5 of my friends and I combined $1000 each for a $100 Top Dollar machine which were $200 max spin. We were on our last spin and we got the top dollar bonus of $5000. Broke even. Better than losing. The worst part was somebody getting the W2. It took forever. Not to mention debating if we had to tip the slot attendant on a break even...

COOL. was that buffalo gold? I see a lot of handpays on youtube on that one!
Hit a $1 old style Triple Diamond Wheel of Fortune for $2700 and while waiting hit the machine next to it for $1800. Neither was a Wheel hit. Wild-wild triplebar, and wild double bar wild.
Craziest was putting a hundred dollar bill in a $1 machine and hitting an immediate bonus round. Won 530 credits or there about.
Cashed out and discovered it was $5 machine and I'd won almost $2700. I still don't know why it wasn't a handpay but it wasn't.
I was feeling sick, and laying down. My sister and her husband were in town, and called to see if we wanted to meet them at the casino, so I got out of bed and Mrs and I went down. I figured I'd play $100 and watch the rest. I put the money in and the machine went on a death march: blank: blank: blank. Not even a cherry. At $13, I hit "SPIN", and it came up 5x pay-5x pay-5x pay, $4000!
I felt pretty good then.
If reels only, then I played slots at the Tropicana for a while when they did a loss rebate program on reels only. Had some wins in the $2,000 to $4,000 range on a Top Dollar machine, but don't remember exact amounts.
$1697 slots
Quote: Mosca$4000 on a $1 WoF, the old single line pay.
Mine was on the same machine, but only $125 (from a Wheel spin)
$20k on a $5 royal
$4,177 for slots.. very recently on a $3.50 bet on Invaders Return from the Planet Moolah - got the Unicow.
$16k slot. $100 DD. That is, unless I include my wife’s 31k slot hit we teamed up on. Are we including wives?

It was the Buffalo Grand. I’m a sucker for that game

Ouch! O.O Having to get a Tax Form for just over the Jackpot threshold($1200) and having to pay taxes on it! :/ I may be jumping the gun because you might live in a place where you don't get taxes taken out/Tax Form for a $1200 or over win such as Canada or the UK IIRC.
~$35K mega jackpot on a $0.88 min jackpot qual bet on one of those stroby-seizure-inducing asian dragon/orb themed reel machines
last year was fuuuuuunnnnn
$240,000 on Video Poker
A $50 deposit bonus at an online poker site in 2001 has lasted me, well forever. Or at least until I had to empty that account in 2007.Quote: ChumpChangeWell, they only gave me $20 to bet with. How long is that gonna last?

100 spins at .20 cents a spin. :) a decent run. And that's just the base spins. You have multiple chances to win big money on just .20 :)
Then another $25,000 same day on a green machine other side of the bank of machines
That was memorial day 2017
My first time playing them at $25 a pull.
In video poker, I vultured a $.50 denom deuces wild triple play for a $3,000 win. If I remember correctly, I was dealt 4 deuces with a 2x multipler on each hand.

Q I'm a Canadian citizen who likes to make occasional trips to casinos in the U.S. Recently, I won $12,856 at keno. The casino withheld 30 percent of my winnings for U.S. income tax, and didn't allow for the fact that I was down $300 on the day and had the tickets to prove it. Someone at the casino told me that he thought the money was recoverable for Canadians once they returned to Canada. Is this true?
A If this was in 1998 or later, you're in luck. As a result of recent changes in the tax treaty between the U.S. and Canada, Canadian citizens who won enough to have the withholding of tax on their winnings, may file a U.S. Non-Resident Tax Return on which they can deduct U.S. gambling losses from their reported U.S. winnings and potentially get a refund for the full amount withheld, if you have as much or more in losses than winnings. If your U.S. losses are less than your winnings, you will get a partial refund.

Would you happen to work for Prominentt Skill Games? I can’t help but notice you seem to mention those games specifically every other post.
Anyway, you might get in some hot water if you pimp this particular brand of skill games in every other thread without adding anything else. If you’d be interested in being interviewed for an article (and you work for them) about the games, shoot me a PM and I’ll consider it.
Keep in mind any such interview will NOT be intended to pimp the games, though we can discuss features and gameplay. I’ll also be interested in things such as:
1. What is the relationship of Prominentt to distributors and operators?
2. How does the pool of results function?
3. What are the general returns to player for different bet levels?
4. What are the different skill components of the games?

They would not have to pay Canadian taxes but would be expected to pay US income taxes on it.

A2A “How would a casino react if by some miracle, you put 1000 dollars on roulette and won, then bet your winnings and won 50 more times?”
That would never happen, assuming I’m reading your question correctly. Casinos have “max bet” limits on their games. If you put $1000 on roulette and won your bet, you’ll have somewhere from $1000 to $35000 in profits (depending upon which bet you made). Even if we assume you’re playing at a table where $35000 was not the max bet, if you make that same bet again but for $35K, you’re going to win $1.2 million. There’s absolutely no chance the casino is going to let you “let it ride” even one more time, so this is basically moot.
And if your question was just “how would a casino react if you won 51 consecutive roulette bets?”, again, this would never happen. By the time you win 5 bets in a row, you had better believe you’ll have drawn the attention of the pit boss, the “eye in the sky”, etc. By the time you win 10 bets in a row, maybe 15 at the absolute max, you’ll have been escorted away from the table – maybe you’ll be told “your roulette play is too good for us, but would you care to play something else?” or “have a steak dinner, on us” or whatever, but you’re definitely not going to be making any more roulette bets.

$4000 VP at Bally’s in Atlantic City & 12k+ on Slots at Harrah’s Cherokee
10k on slots (grand on dancing drums)
$10k In a 2 hr span.
Got $4k (Awk) and 3 baby quads with kicker ($2k each) including holding a lone ace and redrawing quad 3s.
And the best part is that I was only playing because of promo
Last week at the Nugget in Sparks, I was playing $2.5 a push on VP Triple double, hit quad 4's with K for 1k, and 30 sec. later, hit the Royal for $2k.
I always take a picture, my phone is filled with VP jackpots. LOL...

Slots I honestly can't remember. Something in the $1200-$3000 range probably. Never hit one of those big "Grand" jackpots (yet!) or played for eye-watering stakes.
For slots, I once won about $120 at Caesar’s AC cashing freeplay from a bus trip voucher. I don’t play slots otherwise. The only other context where I play slots is when I want to kill some time and/or get drinks so I find a machine where I can literally bet 1 cent at a time. I put in a $1 bill.
There was a time I could honestly say the exact same thing. I kinda miss those days... :|Quote: TinManFor Vp, $1000 quarter RF on 10/7 double bonus at 4 queens
