First for me. Hit back to back 4 of a kinds twice within an hour. Dealt 3 aces drew the 4th, hit deal and got dealt 4 nines. Less than an hour later dealt 2 jacks, drew 2 more. Next hand dealt 2 4's and drew 2. no idea what the odds of this happening is. Didn't make me rich, but exciting non the less. Love reading everyone's wins.

You need to be playing Shockwave Poker.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

On Dancer's site - in a practice round, I went 531 hands without a 4oak, then one hit. Then 4 hands later, another hit. and 23 hands later, a 3rd.
I have never, ever gotten back to back quads. I look forward to it happening to me.

not knowing how many hands you played in that hour and the gameQuote: oldbudmanno idea what the odds of this happening is.
I used 1/400 as the prob of hitting a 4oak
500 hands (easier wit mo hands)
1 in 322 for 1 time with at least 2 in a row
1 in 209,375 for 2 times with at least 2 in a row
400 hands
1 in 403 for 1 time with at least 2 in a row
1 in 328,100 for 2 times with at least 2 in a row
300 hands
1 in 537 for 1 time with at least 2 in a row
1 in 586,369 for 2 times with at least 2 in a row
still less than 1 in a million unless you played 200 hands
(I am 1 in a million)
remember 1 in 100 million happens every week
have fun!

Thanks for the math lesson. Definitely not my strong suit. The folks on this forum that can calculate all these types of scenarios amaze me. I know it's just math, at least that's what I tell myself on the long losing streaks. When focused I probably play 600+ hands an hour, but I seldom stay that focused for long periods. Probably less when playing at MSS and waiting on a $2 S.O. By the way I have not even scared back to backs since this happened. Had a couple 2000 hand sessions with NO 4-OAK'S. Frustrating, but "it's just the math"! Have a good day.
