Ibeatyouraces: First guy called didn't show up and his cruise was forfeited!
Yes I did.

Great job on winning. I wonder what the extras added in to make it worth $10K were since many casinos give these cruises away to higher players on almost a monthly basis?

It's likely that 10K credit was against full retail value on NCL, which is usually almost double what anyone actually pays. Don't know that for a fact, but I'd put money on it. You probably made out better with the $6500 and could go on the same cruise with change in your pocket if you wanted to.
congrats, though, Chauncey! Nicely done!

I'm amazed on what it probably takes to "earn an entry"...only 616 for the entire casino? :-\ Congrats!

I think most of what it takes is returning for the drawing and activating the entries - not a sure thing in a "resort" environment like AC.

This is probably what prompted Revel to go to a new kiosk system for October promotions (the casino now has 15 new working kiosks placed on the casino floor). Plus you could only activate your entries between 3PM and 6:15PM for the cruise drawing I won, which shut out a lot of potential winners.
tringlomane: 1 entry required 10 earned comp dollars ($8,000 coin-in for 9/6 JoB).

I'm not sure if they still have the activation time set up as such but this is the kind of thing I would not be posting about on the message board.Quote: chaunceyb3This is probably what prompted Revel to go to a new kiosk system for October promotions (the casino now has 15 new working kiosks placed on the casino floor). Not this one, but I'll happily take credit I didn't earn just as easily as credit that I earned.
I did call the last one, though, jftr.
Congratulations!!!

I wonder if this 'Dream Cruise' allowed you to book a private Suite?
On the new ship Getaway, the Haven goes for $6500.
It would have been interesting to see what was allowed to be booked, and whether you could use the rest for onboard ship credit and excursions.
