...or would big wins I've DEALT count?

I've never won anything more than $100 at a casino, but I've dealt a few hands that almost put the recipient in the hospital from shock.

#3 Big Win I've Dealt: Craps. On a dead table, I tap into stick, and a woman walks up, bets a $3 Fire and a Pass Line bet, rolls a natural (I think it was craps but I forget.) She raises her Pass Line to $5 - and hits all six points and then sevens out before I get tapped out to switch bases (so, under 20 minutes.) She won $5,000 on the Fire Bet. (And the stupid so-and-so didn't even tip us.)

#2 Big Win I've Dealt: Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em. Four players, and I turn up a king-high straight flush on the board. It's not number one because there's one better and no one had the Ace of Hearts, which would have given them the royal (including, thankfully, me.) So only the Trips paid. (And yes, people tipped.)

#1 Big Win I've Dealt: Mississippi Stud. I had a regular playing heads-up and was relieving the table, and she bet table max Ante but only went 3x on 5th Street. The community was the Jack, Ten, and King of diamonds. I turned up her hand, and she seemed excited because she knew she had diamonds. What she wasn't thinking about was that she has the Queen and Nine of diamonds. She almost hyperventilated when I told her she had a straight flush. She actually asked me for my mailing address so she could send me a separate tip (this, of course, was not allowed, but she certainly tipped the hell out of me there and in the High Limit room.)

And your #1 should have been 33% bigger if she wasn't a ploppy...lol

I'm thinking dealing out big wins is much easier than winning them though. :(

I'm not sure if you go 3x on a Q9 suited, nevermind the end result of a king-high straight flush. Seeing another diamond, though, may have changed her mind. The problem was this, however - she didn't know she had a straight flush or was playing for one until I turned up her cards and told her. So if she really understood what was on the line, she probably would have at least gone 3x on 4th Street and won $20K...so maybe it would have been 33% more if she had been paying attention.

Incidentally, I had to look up "ploppy" and this player is anything but.

But any 4 to a flush is a 3X in MS Stud. You're getting 6 to 1 minimum payout to hit the flush and the odds of a flush-only draw coming in is 9/47 = 0.1914893617 or 4.222 to 1. So not betting 3X on a flush draw is a pretty big mistake. I wouldn't be too shocked if half of your regular players didn't 3X flush draws, but I'm just guessing because I never play this in the casino.

Any 4 to a flush, yes. She tripled on 5th Street. If 3 to a flush is one where she should have tripled or suited Q9 is, then she misplayed the hand because she wasn't paying attention and was probably a bit delirious (I work graveyard shift and it was 5-something in the morning.)

People at my casino who play MS Stud are usually pretty serious players, but in my experience, in order to have the guts to play MS Stud, you pretty much have to believe you know kung fu.
