Briefly, and suffice to say, if they think someone has figured out how to beat them they must in turn figure out how he's/she's doing it. It's their job to repeat myself. They are there to prevent cheating and that is that my friend.

So all of the casinos in Vegas share Ahigh's info so that they can figure out why he always beats them???? WOW!
Quote: NokTangI think the casinos do in fact share the photos(and perhaps other details like names) with others in cases where a guy/girl always win.
They keep an eye out for cheaters, for APs, for trouble makers.
A player who shows no evidence of the above is pretty much off their radar.
The notion that there is a Griffin book (or its modern equivalent) section for quasi-fleas who happen to get lucky is ... laughable.
Ha ha.

They may share the info(photo) for the obvious reasons. They aren't there to lose or break even FYI. Consistent winners are indeed a red flag.

I recall some place he claimed he could set the dice, control them, avoid seven's, and make repeated hardways? You never know when one of these small betters will show up with a high roller and catch them with *&^% in hand.

That's someone's job you just laughed off and away.

He *claimed* that, did he?
Funny, he hasn't proved it.

The proof is in the cage photos. However, I'm not one to question it all. I don't operate a dice game either. Our conversation started with a members comments that he was known all over town. If we accept that premise, we can draw our own conclusions as to why.
If you don't play craps every day for years you don't know what it's like to do so. There are very few casinos that I don't ever go to, and when I do go there, for example, after not going for a while, they do want to know who I am because of the things that I say and do. I am absolutely not a typical craps player at all. But it has nothing to do with the amount of money that I win or lose.
I know a very large portion of all of the craps dealers in Las Vegas. There are absolutely dealers that have never seen me who have heard of me. As AJ at the Silverton told me in reference to his talking to another dealer at another casino about me, "it's a big City, but people still talk."
Many dealers that I know work two and sometimes even three different casinos. There is cross-talk about what is going on around town. Anything unusual is talked about. Especially when there is an empty table, the dealers just sound like teenage schoolgirls but instead of talking about boy bands they talk about girls walking by, who lost, who won, and who might be coming back to chase and so on. They talk.
As far as me being recognized as a celebrity, people don't even have to recognize me from seeing me on a you tube channel (which for the record has never happened where someone said, "I have seen you on you tube.")
But when I shoot and talk while I am playing (I absolutely talk a lot) or when I pull a very long roll (I won't put out numbers, but even just from the amount that I play I get more longer rolls than just about anybody I know) people do take an interest. When it happens to be that I am getting a long roll and it appears and sounds like I know what I am doing, everybody takes an interest.
You guys can argue about it all you want, but as far as I am concerned, without you being at the casino with me, you are pissing in the wind thinking you know anything at all about it.
I was grandfathered in at $5 and he claimed I had to bet $10 minimums for what I thought was a bogus reason, so I just left. He may have saved me money because I just went to the LVH and made it all back very very easily on a regular craps table with $5 minimums.
I'm not sure, but I may just be done with crapless craps. It's absolutely a harder game that I am more likely to lose at than regular craps.
I did have fun even though it cost me, but the next time I play that game it's going to be max odds only.
I don't know why they chose to make comments that ultimately led me to leave, but it could have been any of a number of reasons. I don't have the bankroll to do 10x odds on a $10 game, but I probably do for a $5 game with a little luck.
Quote: NokTangHello Ahigh. Please explain the hardways thing for me and these two members in I guess, doubt. Many of your stories include a set of ten or so tosses where you make a lot of hard six/eight's? Thanks.
The way that the doubtful people perceive what I am doing is that I get lucky and roll clumps of hardways like anybody else. I don't claim to know why I am able to do this, but the statistics seem to validate there is a very low p-value of the distribution to what is on the top of my set to any other outcome over a series of rolls.
The last Ahigh show I rolled 4 hard tens and one easy ten in ten throws of the dice after specifically setting out to do this.
Critics say "so what!"
To me it's interesting. To the math, it's unlikely. In the case of the Ahigh show, I even said before I did this on the live show that it's what I was trying to do, including admitting failure about halfway into my 200 rolls of attempts. That's about the best explanation I can give you.
This topic is probably worthy enough for isolation into a separate thread, but in general, I don't think anybody here believes that what I am doing is anything but luck. I think maybe boymimbso said "maybe there's something to it." But by now, I think everyone just thinks it's luck.
I use this same theory to do this video before I was doing live shows. I had no failed attempts to do this, and this session took a little more than 100 throws as well.

So then, by your own admission, we should put zero credence on what you say you've done / won in the casinos, yes?
Are you saying you are not to be believed as to what you claim to have done?
Are you saying that your posting your exploits proves nothing, and that you don't "know anything at all?"

I wish you would give yourself a break Ahigh.
Not to insult anyone but I didn't read that other person's comments about the show being a disaster, it wasn't. Given my choices on satellite tv, there are dozens of shopping channels and not one on craps. America needs more exposure to craps/math and less exposure to shopping.
The break part is when your trying something different/special, don't log those rolls in with the rest. If I'm trying to improve at one shot or another, those practice shots don't represent my game anymore than a musician practicing music represents their recorded songs.
Your integrity/honesty isn't in doubt to anyone that should matter to you.
On crapless craps, did you ever place the ace-deuce or just come bet it? Can you tell me what that pays? I think you said you had 8 come bets out there and it went down, ouch? No limit of 3 or so comes, hunh? Thanks

I hit aces and twelves a couple of times each for single odds ($10). The pay is $60 for the $10 odds and $10 for the flat on the hi/lo.
The ace-deuce and yo I hit about twice as often each and the pay is triple ($30 for the odds and $10 for the flat).
I had a $5 table last night, and I did do $5 come bets with $25 odds for a little while. I had $25 on each of the hi/lo but I didn't hit either of them and some folks walked up to the table asking a bunch of questions and I took all my odds bets down to single odds to reduce exposure, but I didn't hit either one that time around.
I didn't buy any bets at all during any of my play.
The only place bets I made were on the six and eight.

In order ...
No, I am saying that your comment implies that the ONLY way to determine the truth is to be at a table with you, that it is the only way to "know anything at all."
By implication, that means nobody should put any weight on what you SAY, only on what you DO.
My comments and questions are formulated by my belief system, as are yours.
Yes, I do drive a Ford pickup, as well as a Ferrari; thanks for asking!
The only daisies I care about would the ones you'd be pushing up (ba da bing, ba da boom).
"Saying nothing" is self-contradictory.
I am a troll only in the sense that I am a big, strong and basically mean-spirited uncaring lout.

More likely he asks that they call him "Mr. H."
Nothing wrong with that.

He, Ahigh, has posted several photos of $3000.usd cash outs/chips. While to some of you $3000. is peanuts, to a wide berth of players it's a fortune. Not many in a casino will have $3000.usd on them, even at a Wynn or Caesars. He's got those amounts at what most consider small time outfits with mostly very low average wager customers and even the most unfortunate eating scraps and drinking left drinks and half empty beers.

Just answering the jibes at me. Ahigh is willing to post and contribute and that's good enough for me. Those of you tossing peanut shells from the balcony should try and participate. Any post is okay with me as long as not about child abuse, I'm able to skim by something of no interest. His pictures speak volumes more than peanut shells.
Quote: Beethoven9thNokTang, so you really think all the top casino execs in Vegas phone each other about Ahigh? LOL
It's automated, facial recognition and all that stuff. Surprised you are so behind. Anyone who can on a consistent basis roll four or five hardways out of ten rolls, without a seven out or easy way, is indeed going to be noticed and watched.

What does "facial recognition" have to do with your belief that casinos are warning each other about Ahigh? Are you saying that the dealers who supposedly recognized him (at a casino he's never been to before) are robots who used facial recognition software to reveal his identity?

This thread has gotten hopelessly off-topic, though the jabs are all within the Statler and Waldorf standard in this thread, (read: no bans) this entire thread has been reduced to sniping at one another for the last three pages.
