I have never tried to tackle baccarat seriously untill last night, after 7 hours or so of play I was down, by a lot. but then I hit the dragon 7!! (pays 40 to 1) and I ended up leaving the casino up around $500 for the night,

this isnt my biggest ever win in a casino, but its my first time ever hitting a high payoff side bet!

That is a nice hit at 40:1. BTW the game is EZBaccarat. Seems to be in quite a few places outside of Vegas.

EDIT: After checking at the WoO.... wizard, could we get a write-up on this variant?

the WoO has a good page, https://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/dragon-bet/

but it has a LOT of variance, I went back today and played for 5 hours, (three shoes) and I made 46 dragon bets and missed all of them, :(
