This is my system. I never deviate from basic strategy on whatever game I'm playing, keeping the house edge to a minimum. I play until I have reached my stop loss or pre-set win goal, in which case I then break my bankroll in half and play that out until I either, A. Double MY Investment again, or B. lose it all (or most) I will still leave with my original stake and then some hopefully, and live to play another session. (take a break, see show, have a meal whatever)
If I achieve my win goal on my second run then I break that in half, and play that out, In this way I will never lose more than my stop loss, and I may continue to win on my hot streak if I'm lucky until that fades and I walk a winner, with my winnings safely in my pocket. Discipline is a dirty word, but it can save your bacon in the long run.
I NEVER try to win it back, and I never walk on a hot streak.
This helps me to stretch out my gambling dollar, and if I'm lucky enough to catch the Pit Boss's Attention I may get a free meal, or even a comped room. (I always present my player's card at the onset) ,and up my bets if I see the pit looking my way.
Ah yes, and I always tip the crew or dealer, especially when I'm winning. I think that makes adifference when it comes time to suggest a comp.
Thanks for looking and Good Luck!

I'm playing the home game and the losing streaks are never-ending at times. Losing 4 or more sessions of 25 bet buy-ins before cashing out 10 bets ahead on a session seems to be the level of difficulty I'm running up against. Translated to a 2-3 hour casino visit at the BJ table, just one shoe could wipe me out on one session, where are the shoes where I win? I'm always coming back from behind after a loss with a potential win on a new session.
