So what OS are these casino kiosks using?
Quote: darkozI did NOT say that any specific MGM property was the one I referenced about kiosks.
That's why I wrote this earlier...
Quote: coachbellyOf course, the casino name would be required.

Kiosk OS doesn't matter.
The players club account PIN isn't an OS level authentication token on the kiosk.

Are you fishing for doxxing information?
That would be bad form.
Quote: DieterAre you fishing for doxxing information?
Fishing is not required in DO's case.
Is advising which MGM properties require freeplay to be activated at kiosks a secret?

The answer you seek only poses more questions.

Why is that a problem?
Are members required to answer questions, or prohibited from asking questions?

You said you were not fishing for a doxx.
I'm sure I misunderstood something you were alluding to.
I have players cards with perhaps five different casino companies including two poker casinos in California.
When I set up my PINS I was told I cant use my birthdate or year, couldn't use the same consecutive numbers, couldn't use 1234, couldn't use the last four of my social and other too easy numbers to hack.
If your experience is different... okay.
What's to fight about?
Quote: AlanMendelsonI dont know of any PIN system at any bank or casino or lock that would allow four identical numbers to be used. Not even on a website. That must be an awfully primitive casino that allows 5555, Darkoz.
Do they even have cameras or does Security roam catwalks with binoculars? LOL

I have developed many player tracking systems used in 100's of casinos and we did not block any number combinations for PIN's.

Did you do Station Casinos? In January I renewed my card for the first half of 2022.

The company that I worked for used to have the Stations casinos contract but I am pretty sure they have since changed systems.
