Craps strategy I'm thinking of trying

I'm thinking about trying a new strategy, certainly nothing revolutionary but wondered if anyone has tried any similar. Basically start out betting the 6 and 8 for $30 each. Once I hit twice and get my money back, double down on the next number to $60. If I hit that, take the profit and keep letting them ride, doubling down ever other hit. What could go wrong? Right ;-)

Any Craps strategy works as long as the dice go your way.

I've played a similar strategy and continued with winnings. Of course, you need the dice to go your way to get profit to play with in the first place. It is a good form of money management.

I like this one:
Bet six and eight twelve bucks each.
Hit: throw in four bucks and press the number that hit to $30.
If it hits again, toss in a buck and press it to $66.
If it hits again, take it down.

Both personal craps strategies and personal craps anecdotes are essentially infinite in number. Everyone has his own pet methods and memories. Reading them becomes as interesting as counting sand.

Like most everything gambling, you need some luck. If the dice are cold there's not much you can do apart from play dark.

This can't be done unless you have friends beside you to make the bets for you because the max bet is usually $2500 AT A $10.00 minimum table.
Pass line come out roll can easily catch 3 sevens on come out and 2 points average can be maybe 5 parlays.
10 would be pushing it.
5 parlays =10, 20, 40, 80, 160 but I don't think anyone would even try.
Maybe 1 in 500 shooters will have a run of 7's on come out around 8 or 9 in a row. Again who would have the guts to make such a parlay at the real tables.

MrV, This is not a good play
1st off you're betting two numbers to win against a seven that is easier to roll
2nd after a win, you're adding more money to the casino piggy bank ($4.00)
3rd after another win you're still not taking a profit and yet you're adding more money to the casino piggy bank ($1.00)
You're giving the casino too many chances to win your money.
Thumbs down on this MrV. You may want to reconsider your options with your betting.
Maybe try simply flat betting on the 6,8 and just collecting your winnings might be a far more better option for your style of play.
I don't want to sound like a bully but gambler's bible states that a gamble should pull back some profit after each win.

Are you referring to an older couple from Brantford, Ontario? The husband is just turned 97 years old, He shoots like a champion at the table here in Brantford and his wife is a super nice woman probably in her late 70's maybe?

This is almost like MrV's way of playing but same scenerio.
You need to pull chips back from some of the wins.
These strategies CAN NEVER WORK for long term unless you pull back winnings.

Have any of you tried the Lay all numbers strategy at come out roll? aka A-HIGH Lay betting?
