summary:

businessman says using martingales in betting soccer game is a "sure win", newspaper says he is an idiot.
Court rules in favor of the businessman.

Too bad the newspaper should have ask the wizard as an expert witness.

It looks like this happened in Hong Kong. I don't know much about Hong Kong libel laws but fortunately in this country a libel case is very difficult to win.

I believe that in soccer somebody is always being paid off. Perhaps even both sides.

Just look at the darn score. Every game ends like 1-0 or 1-1 or 2-1. It's obvious both teams are just trying to lose. Just look up how much Christiano Ronaldo (£225m) and Lionel Messi are getting paid off.

I don't know much either but supposedly it's like the UK (hope it's still is, after 20 yrs under the communists, but that discussion will get political.)
