Why not save gas money and time? When your up or down however many units your working with, just get up, walk outside, come back and do it again? What's the difference between that and actually going home for the night?

The golden rule. You're a guest on the forum, respect the administration and their requests/orders/ultimatums. If you have a problem with it, discuss it, but in the mean time respect the request.

Yes, I would say "next poster is a faggot" is what Mission considers a personal insult, and I'm quite happy to back him up on it. randombac said he changed it (without arguing the request to do so) about 4 hours ago, so I'm assuming positive intent for the moment and that he had a glitch in getting a new picture installed. I went through about 6 sends myself trying to get my new avatar to work the other day, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, but I do expect he'll show a change soon.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

You need to keep trying. You must browse and select something else out of your pictures, make sure an address comes back into that space in your profile, click "update", then go to one of your posts here and make sure it changed. Do it until it does; as I said before, it took me 6 times of doing that before it worked.
If after several more attempts and checking the threads, it still hasn't fixed, use

and select "website/technical issues" so it goes to the right person. Give them your username, tell them you're unable to change your avatar, and ask them to restore the default silhouette. I don't have access to editing your avatar, or I'd do it for you.

What's wrong with reporting or having a streak? In random games streaks will happen. It's interesting to find out how long random streaks last. It might make an interesting chart/curve.
I think everyone should report their streaks.
I went without a royal flush for 13 months, something like 170,000 hands. That was a heck of a streak.

Not sure what kinda streaks, charts, or curves you're talking about. But I agree it is (or at least can be) interesting. If you give me details I could perhaps make such a chart if it's within my qualifications. Recently started taking a deeper interest in Excel and getting bored without fresh ideas. =\
RE: Streaks, they really don't mean much in the after-math. But, if you're wondering what kind of streaks (or variance) you might experience, then doing the math and figuring it out ahead of time is a good thing to do. That way you don't get on a game you haven't played before, play for a decent while, then realize the variance/streaks are going to be too much to handle. I had that issue playing UX a while back -- I was doing pretty well for a good while, breaking about even for a long time. Then all of a sudden it hit me like Hurricane Katrina (can I say that word yet?) --- dumping bills left and right. I got fortunate by hitting a few big hands right before I finished my goal.....but.....that could'a been a real nasty one. Sometimes we ain't that lucky.

RS I follow technical analysis of the stock market and I learned TA from the best -- Stan Weinstein. Stan said anything could be charted to predict the future. So once I set out to chart craps to find the break out from the base building pattern to the growth or profitable time to play and bet.
That would be going from stage 1 to 2 following stock charts.
I never followed thru to chart enough shooters to determine if TA in stocks really could apply to craps. But it would be like betting streaks.
