For those chumps who waste their time on shoe computers thinking that casino personnel don't notice toe tappers, there are now professionally designed shoes.

Personally, I wonder how the old 'computer' laws would play out today. Between smart phones, Ipads, tablets, notebook computers, nearly every single person in the casino is now carrying a computer.

That is why casinos insist you step away from the table to use a cell phone and that it not be on the table. Carrying a computer is fine, its using it that will get you years in the pokey.
Anyone toe tapping or signalling like mad comes to the attention of surveillance. Even if its a physically distant confederate using the computer if he sends the results to your shoe, its a felony for each of you.

I've seen people chatting away on their cellphones/computers while playing slots and I believe VP.

I can understand where a computer might help someone count cards, but I cannot see why at a craps table a player isn't allowed to have their own music on headphones rather than listen to the din of the casino or answer a cellphone. I don't understand what computer access would help at craps? Does it help somehow in a strictly random game?

Does a computer know when to go all in on the hardways?

I think it might have more to do with the Rent A Cops not being any too swift at distinctions, so blanket rules have to be made even though the casino's fears are greatest at a BJ table rather than some dimwit pressing a little red button who want advice on whether they should press it harder or softer.

I just hope there is a legal advice app that come with any thing like this used at a BJ table. If your going to use something like this. You should just find a better way to cheat.

I would like to know how much evidence is needed for the casino to have your shoes searched for something like this.

How much evidence or how many big burly security guards? You can always call Bob N. afterwards. I meant this thread as a joke because some of those clunky computer types wore awful shoes so as to have room for the solenoids. Surveillance started watching for toe-tappers near BJ and roulette tables. So now well designed shoes will have electronics already in them. I doubt it will be used much in a casino though.

I think my question is valid as to what or how much evidence is needed before you can be detained and then searched.
