Nah... 28 grand is nothing to Grosvenor casinos. They have Bacc players who will have half that much on a single hand.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sequential-Roulette-Balvinder-Sambhi/dp/0955965101 - is his "book".

It's a 2009 news article, which is really a press release for a shady book on how to Progressively bet after each loss.

Figured that as much.
More "new math" in his book, most likely.

If that is the experiment I'm thinking off, the found the source of the error. It might not be.

And why would that be a bad thing?

I was only saying that the BAC guys want to keep the thread going, they say whatever they can to keep up the discussion at any cost. When the heat is applied and things are not going their way, they cry about the haters. If not for the haters the tread would die.

It's not a bad thing in general. It is a bad thing for the BAC guys.

Obviously people need their daily dose of crazy.

IMO the BAC threads are no different then half the other topics, at least its talking about math and gambling.

Thanks Wizard for posting the 25k shoes, it definitely helps to test my system.

The stats as of now (will update once its completed)

Please note : The "system" has been simulated on 50k shoes

Profit = 846,450.00

This is all what I was looking to test.

Well, for me 50k shoes would equate to fifty years worth of fulltime play. But then, even that might not be enough to constitute the "long run" that the mathites and ap wiseguys are laways prattling on about, hey hey.

I had a Varmenti and "wife" sighting today at Fallsview starting around 2:45pm today and he and his partner was still there until I left at 4. He played at three baccarat tables. The first one was choppy. The next one was choppy at the start, then he hit a string of 6-7 players in a row, which he was very excited about, and then he hit a very choppy table which was running essentially PBPBPBBP before I had to leave.

The entertainment was almost worth the $140 I lost playing the Dan Lubin Pai Gow special. The lady beside me was getting killed on the Queen high, down $450 over the 45 hands that I played.

Was very excited but then I noticed they made a mistake in the expiry date "Ending in Dec.2013" Oh well, Back to Casino in the morning to fix.

I know when it comes to slots and using the Card. I have to agree with you, but table games i always use. since the 3 months playing baccarat I've had free meals every day, Many free tickets for shows, always free parking. It adds up. I even get free hotel rooms but since I live so close to the Casino to ever use them.

most people would think the opposite of card usage in casinos if your going to play slots of course you should use it. The rating is ussualy better.

3 months of play at the level and frequency that the troll claims to operate at is several times more than what it would take to earn 1000 points at Fallsview.

True. I've had Gold status now for about 5 years and I play (er, lose) about once a month.

But Fallsview / Niagara are not known for giving out gold cards for table play nearly as quickly as they do for slot play. On VP, $40,000 in every six months gets you gold status. EV for the gold status is $800 (at 2% theo loss, which is about the best VP that Fallview/Niagara offers). For Gold, you get free valet parking, a free selection of concerts from time to time, and about $25 - $50/month in extra free meals, depending on play. The free valet parking means that for $1-2 (the tip), you wait the same amount of time than it does to take an elevator to your car.

In short, Gold ain't worth it.

But congratulations anyway. My point was that Varmenti exists at Fallsview and he plays baccarat using the methods he generally subscribes to. It's only a matter of time before the losses pile up.

Dude,

While this is not a system, I've found an Android smartphone tool that might help you to score and analyze a shoe's activity:

I've used this program at casinos where the Baccarat is electronically or mechanically dealt (automated with no human dealer), and have gotten occasional favorable results. Check it out - it might be worth the $2 to you - if you win one extra hand by using it then it's already paid for itself.

I've tried a few betting progression based systems with the same results - they all work - until they stop working; which is to say that nothing really makes up for common sense and gambling discipline.

Walk away when you're ahead or you'll definitely end up behind. The house advantage guarantees that.

Cheers.

I have read a about WOO's old challenge to test a system (which I guess has been closed) and some other challenge similar to it that is still open.

Both of those test are done on a computer on a random roll. I would like to know are there any challenges on Baccarat system that are Casino based, even if its extended over a week or a month. But something that is played in a real Casino and not on a Computer. If anything is present like that, I would like to take up a challenge on beating the Casino in Baccarat. I have been able to do that on a steady basis and I guess I wanna test it now like a challenge.

Please read before dissecting my post:
1. I know that it might not be mathematically proven, but like I said i have been observing Casino tables for months and have also been playing regularly. I have't yet lost with my system. I have only lost in the Casino while simply playing Baccarat without the system for fun or while playing Craps or diff variation of BJ.

2. I have only played and observed in Ontario - Fallsview and Windsor.

3. I know people would say that why do you wanna take a challenge when you can make money by using a winning system. Like I said I am not looking for winning money but I just wanna take it as a challenge.

4. I wouldn't like to talk about my system, because I wanna keep it to myself AS OF NOW. I am ready for a challenge in a Casino if anyone agrees to sign a non disclosure contract.

Like I said before I am a novice gambler and definitely not experienced like most of the players in the forum.

The problem is that several week or months in a casino is not long-term. You can do something like Marintgale and grind out small wins for a VERY long time... until that one day when you lose it all back, and then some. Or, that bad day could come your first couple of times out.

This is why we use computer simulations -- so that we can do billions of hands. The more hands you play, the more reliable your numbers will be. You've probably played thousands of hands. That's just not enough data to be meaningful. It's certainly possible to be lucky for that long, and it's certainly possible to design a system where you are likely to be a little ahead after that long (like martingale). But these systems all lose in the long run. If you are doing something Martingale-like, you win almost every time you play! But when you lose, you lose BIG.

If you have the bankroll for it, you can certainly risk $1,000,000 to try to win $100. And most of the time you will win $100. Until you have that one bad day, that is....
