What is the house advantage of betting black with the 3rd column (8 red & 4 black) on European Roulette (1 zero)?
I imagine there's still a slight house advantage, but I'm wondering if it is less than the 2.7%.
Thanks for the info.

If the even money bet loses when a zero is rolled, the house edge is exactly the same (2.7%).
If the even money bet only loses half when a zero is rolled, and you place an equal bet on any even-money bet (such as black) and any column or dozen bet (such as column 3), then the house edge of your total bet is 2.027%. If you bet 2 units on an even-money bet and 1 unit on a column/dozen bet, the house edge of your total bet is 1.802%. To get the lowest house edge possible, only bet the even money bets.
