I came up with this system it might blow apart with the challenge but it seems to be working ok. I am going to have Xtreme code it for 1 billion spins. Here is the data from 200 spins that I did by hand. The system will not work with even money so 1 use the 1st dozen as the bet. Although I have tried it with numbers like 0 through 3 on a single zero wheel. The following test data uses an American wheel. The system is simple you put one unit on any of the 2-1 payouts like the dozens or columns. You bet just that 12 or you can bet what I believe are called streets like 123. I like using 0123 on a single 0 wheel. When losing you add 1 chip when you win you go back to 1 chip if you start to lose you keep adding 1 chip every time until win then you go back to 1 chip. The following data can be pasted on to notepad saved and opened using MS Office or Sun Open Office. As you can see 82 dollars was made over 200 spins.

One simulation does not make a winner. Try again. Try 1,000 simulations and see how you do. You will find that your loss will approach 5.26% x your average bet.

Oh Dear, another winning system. As mentioned your sample is too small, you'll get crushed with bigger number of spins. That said there are two ways to make money from systems....

1st) Wirte a book/ do a DVD, winning system, and spread it all over the internet. Collect $100's from chumps with poor reasoning.

2nd) Own a casino and let the above chumps play on your roulette tables.

Dont mean to sound harsh, but ANYONE with a winning system would never let it out.

And if the casino catches on to your system they may very well give you the boot, which may very well spread your reputation to other casinos who will treat you in a similar fashion.

Only if it's truly a winning system. Since it's not, they will more than likely give the VIP treatment!

Naw. Casinos LOVE systems that don't work.

Not true. Wizard's already said he'd let one go for $50 million (AtW 220).

Any casino that would boot someone on a system doesn't like money.

And I don't know of any casinos that don't like money.

We spent some time trashing your "System". Here's why it doesn't work.

In the system that you propose, you are saying bet one unit that pays three units if you win. The problem is that you lose this bet 26/38 times.

Your system becomes a loser after your eight loss in a row, as you are betting 9 units to pay 27 but you've already lost 36.

The odds of losing 8 in a row is (26/38)^8 = 4.8%. This is not that improbable. You will eventually run into a streak where you will lose more than you can win.

This system *will* work from time to time, but it is just as valid as any other betting system.

I actually spent more time on it and like every system I have tried it works good even with some bad luck but blows up during really bad luck streaks. I actually have never bet money at a casino game it just interests me. I actually tried more plays and it did blow up during bad luck streaks. Also what was interesting is I lost a majority of the time but won with a huge ratio something like 10 losers for every 1 winner but still profitable. Allot of systems work on wheels when the distributions are normal but when huge trends happens the system always blows apart. The reason I like studying casino gambling so much is because its logic applies to financial markets. In fact all the comments I got about this system have made me think more clearly about how to operate a financial casino as a market maker. I still like those stories about people who tried casino stuff but then moved to the options and stuff like that. People like Blair Hull who started as a 21 player but then started a trading company for options market making. I think in the Trading Wizards every interview he did with a gambler they at some point stopped because nothing worked but then they took that knowledge and made money from financial markets. Market making in stocks is where you charge a bid ask spread there by getting a 1 penny advantage over the customer. I am actually in the process of setting up a market making operation on the S&P 500 taking a 12.50 advantage from every trade. That's only a fraction of 1 percent but iterated over a few hundred times per day. Interesting thing about stocks is that progression works because your costs can actually be positive in other word you can be the house in the markets but not casino stuff. Any way hope everybody found this to be interesting.
